    if you plan on getting an annihlator I would lvl goldsmithing as a sub to 60 on that mule cause silver bullets are probably going to be your bread and butter. (as with any rng gun user) Smithing is just good to make and HQ the expensive bullets to sell to cors.

    So! I find that with alchemy 99+3 I make less money than cloth 93 and have to synth seriously a factor of ten more for it. The upside is not relying on t1/t0 hqs for Gil.

    I would gladly go back to 93 cloth though.

    Ahh, yes, bullets. Kinda slow to sell last time I played, but you can make a pretty penny HQing silver/steel bullets .

    Well I've decided to take the plunge. I leveled cooking on my main when I was a noob, and took all subs to 60 just for ffxiah achievement points. Sure, I could level alchemy 0-100 on a mule but then I'd also need to level gold, smithing, and ww(?) subs, no thanks. If I ever find a dire need for cooking I'll level it on a new mule since it doesn't require subs.

    I'm fishing up some monke-onke's now to get this show on the road.

    edit: definitely wouldn't have done this without republic's earring and working on smithing gloves first before I begin on alchemy stuffs.

    I think because of my friend fishing up all those fish I think it took me about 2-3 months to get there
    I just stumbled upon Cantarella while looking at synths paralysis dust is used in. Did you guys leave it out for a certain reason or was it not in-game when you leveled? It seems pretty break even if I throw some powders on a mule, and hoard livers for a few weeks npcing for 2.8k:

    Alchemy (99)
    Yield: Cantarella x 1
    Dark Crystal
    * 1 x Mercury
    * 1 x Venom Dust
    * 1 x Paralysis Dust
    * 1 x Fresh Orc Liver
    * 1 x Distilled Water

    the problem is that the synth is also a complete loss unless everyone and their dog needs it to make their mandaus. Since though (judging by your avatar) you can fish up the stuff to make the 2 dusts, you would have very little loss from it, just the orc livers.

    Also, you could give it to people who don't know any better and watch their hp tick down 10hp at a time.

    Your doing it wrong.

    I did that when I leveled mine but after camping for brown belt go to ordellos caves and kill the malboro there, they are 100% drop 1-3 at a time and between the floors you can easily pull like 50 vines in a hour.

    Hell I have 80 I muled for when I level alchemy again on this character.

    Anyone got any tips on the last stretch from 93-100.

    Arihman Wings don't seem to want to drop for me at all and Orc Livers are hard to come by in decent numbers. I've had a hard time trying to find anything that isn't a massive gil sink for the final stretch >.>

    On topic however, level those smithing subs people. You'll be glad you did once you can start HQ'n Steel Bullets for ~15k/stack

    Philosopher's Stone->Panacea->Platinum Nuggets?

    People buy nuggets pretty well, both the Nugget and Panacea synths are skillups, and it looks like the synth will be profit if you start from Philospher's stones. Might need to be patient to sell the kinda output you'll be making, but it'll happen eventually.

    Hmm, might have to look into that. Failing that I can always bribe my g/f to bring her THF and we can clear out the Baileys...

    Well after panacea if you have a hard time locating wings you could do sun waters. Thats a big loss in itself, but will get you to 100.

    When I did the last stretch of alchemy I was pretty broke, didn't have a big bank to power through with expensive matts. I ended up farming nearly everything and barely lost any gil, took a few weeks though.

    Papillion to 97 then Pro-Ether till 100

    For papillion I farmed flint stones in dangruf, really nice drop there. Spider webs outside whitegate, had a friend snyth to rainbow thread. The insect wings I already had from bee chip farming.

    For pro-ether I farmed the ahriman wings in castle zvahl baileys. Treant bulbs in gustaberg. The wyvern wings were hard to get a hold of, people would just vendor them instead of putting up on the auction house. Tried to farm them as well but they had a crap droprate. Got many from randomly asking people meritting in the thickets for them.

    Cool. I heard you were a pretty lady. Check me out on FFXIAH (Valefor), maybe we can get somethin' goin' on .

    Also, there's no apostrophe in the plural form of "crafter," ya know.
