WTB: PSP 2000/3000

Looking to buy either one.

Must be in a hackable state , or pre-hacked is fine but I'm not willing to pay extra for it. Don't need any extras, no games, mem card, etc, just the system.

Going rate seems to be around $60-$80 for a bare used system. So if anyone has one for sale, PM me.

275 on ebay lol when I checked around June, I'd be very happy to know your claim is true

Craigslist tends to have them around that rate but at times they could have an issue (sometimes small sometimes major) such as a crack on the screen or the charger missing, etc. But normally for 1000 and 2000, not 3000 (that I have seen anyway).

Friend got his for $50 and I am not sure if there was an issue with it, he was lucky though with the deal. Been trying to find one for about $60-70 myself on it but some people haven't been returning e-mails (guessing it was sold already)

Completed listings on ebay shows several good condition 2000s sold in that range, and they go for $99 at a game store. Didn't think $80 was some amazing stretch of the imagination considering.

I didn't mean to imply used, those were for the God of War/Daxter editions (guaranteed modded)

Sorry, should have said its more of a software hack.

Once loaded, as the same effect of a permanent hack found on 1000 model PSPs...... as long as you sleep the PSP instead completely turning it off. If you completely turn the PSP off, it resets back to its original firmware.

Yet, if you turn off your psp fully.... its just a matter of clicking a icon in your photo tray to re-load it.

For a pre-modded one, yeah. Plenty of pre-modded ones in boston for $200 easy. Depends on the area too.

Pretty stupid to pay a 100% premium for a 10 minute auto-hack(which is why I specifically mentioned I'm not willing to pay more for a pre-hacked one, long as it's in a hackable state).

And having someone overclock a PC for you for an additional $100~200 isn't the same? Honestly a lot of people pay to have things done for them for a premium. Considering it is possible to brick your psp, or iphone etc, people would rather just pay the $50 and not risk doing it themselves. It's not hard to do, but not everyone is willing to take risks.
