Changed BIOS RAM settings, no display, 3 beeping sounds on startup.

Changed the RAM settings while dicking around from "Auto" to "User Aggressive", restarted, computer beeped 3 times and has no display. Not sure if it's always been there, but a light on my graphics card turned to red when the computer first starts. That light doesn't stay on however, but it would seem the graphics card is not working properly (obviously).

From looking around, 3 beeps seems to be a RAM error which would fit, but how can I get back into the BIOS to revert to the "Auto" setting if there is no display?

Remove the bios jumper on your motherboard

Reset the BIOS? You can either remove the battery or switch the jumpers. Check your mobo, should have a label.

What's it look like? I have removed the battery and put it back in which others have said would reset it, but still making the same beeping noises and no display.

Edit: Found it and it booted without beeping noises, display is working too! Hopefully this will work.

you're lucky. In the old days you would have been fubar. Saved settings were just that, SAVED. I still have a couple systems with a BIOS saver on them so I could play with settings, and if I borked them, flip a switch, restart on the backup bios, flip the switch, flash the original again, off we go!
