We've never heard anything about Natsu's real family ever and Zeref knows Natsu but it was never explained how. Right before the Tenro arc he says something along the lines of you are the only one who can save me. I don't remember the quote exactly tbh.

I do remember something about Zeref hoping that Natsu could destroy him. It's a possibility.

Now, the anime appears to have gone into a filler arc where all of the Celestial Spirits have changed personalities and are trying to earn "true freedom" or something. I'm curious how that's going to work out. Hopefully it's a filler arc with some substance.

I found those pages kind of off-putting to be honest. It was completely out of the blue. There's usually at least some context or pretext for most of the fan-service. In retrospect I think it kind of detracted from the end of the chapter.

On one hand, the Treasure Hunters still haven't acknowledged Zeira's presence. On the other hand, it seems like a bit of an "out there" twist and I can't figure out the purpose for it other than pure shock value. I'm inclined to say she's not dead but we've got nothing concrete to disprove the theory yet either.

According to the translator, they took some liberties and what he actually said in the Japanese version could be taken as singular or plural. I don't know how true this is, but people asked because of that very line.

Could it be a similar situation to how Mavis can be seen by the members of Fairy Tale and no-one else?

In fact that power that Cana (I think it's Cana, Gildart's daughter) got could be some sort of protection ability based of the bond between Mavis and Zeira?

It seems like a weird comparison, but similar to how the Flame Dragons in Flame of Recca are the spirits of previous Flame Ninjas (if people are familiar with that anime/manga).
