Not sure if I'm drunk or what but I remember them using Gods/Kings interchangeably. King/God of the Spirits, Acnol King/God of the Dragons etc etc. If what I'm saying is on point then we've know about them for a minute and their prescence is nigh important as simply just fan-service.

I don't ever remember the Spirit King or Acnologia being referred to as Gods, that may just be a translator thing.

If I'm not mistaken he was cursed when he brought back natsu "his little brother" back to life. Taboo to bring life back so I'm guessing he was cursed to cause death.

I forget what page number it was (page 27 on the version I read), but it looked like his arm had a different symbol on it as it burned the cloth away?

It looks a lot like the Cait Shelter's symbol, but I thought that was a fake guild created for Wendy.

They all had that when they first got to the island town. It just changed as they made their "entrance" into the fight.

There's definitely something going on with the arm. It seems to react when people with high magic ability show up.

Indeed. Also, for those interested, a series called Fairy Tail Gaiden appeared too. It seems to be a oneshot of some stuff going on at the Sabre Tooth guild.
