Fish Stamina Borked?

I started fishing a little in SSG today since I had a little free time. (Mind I've been going down here for awhile for gil/skill ups) and everything is pull in is going down slightly faster than I'm used to. Nothing has changed since yesterday.

Same skill/same gear/etc. I've pulled in multiple Bastore Breams that go down like they are Nebiminites. Even the Grimmonites are way easier to reel in. And Nebimonite's pretty much zip down like Pamtam Kelps.

Even the monster's are going down faster than before.

Did SE do something to fish stamina?

In my personal experience this just happens sometimes. There have been times previous to this last update that the fish just seem to go down easier. IE: Last week I was fishing on the Selbina->Mhaura ferry catching some Marlins for pirates charts. One day I caught 6 Ryugu's in one boat ride. The next ride (same way) I couldn't even bring 1 out of 6 in. The next RL day I caught 12 of them without any line breaks and they went down with no problem.

fishing is random.

no matter what you do it just happens, on some days lik would break my line all day. other days I cant land them. Then some days no line breaks at all and I can land almost all. Just happens from time to time. Him a bad snag is all. Sometimes fish fight harder and it just happens back to back to back...
