Any way to get my account back?

Ok here is the story.

I quit FFXI in september, deactivated my security token, changed the SE password because i planned to give it to a friend, and cleared all my pers info on my account.

Now i wanna reactivate my account, but the problem is that i forgot my SE password. So i went on the login and asked for a "forgot your password", but strangly i know what i wrote for the security question and the website keep telling me it's wrong.

So i called SE customer service and asked for them to reeinitialise (sp) my SE account password. But they keep telling me that my original info are wrong, which is impossible because i never changed my personal info exept when i deactivated my account.

So based on that i got 3 questions

1) Am i fucked?
2) Can i actually reactave my POL ID and play FFXI without SE account even though they are linked?
3) just making sure but am i really fucked? lol

The name and date of birth cannot be changed on a PlayOnline account, ever. The date of birth tied to the SEA also can't be changed. Try calling them and requesting a notary form to verify ownership of the account. I'm not crystal clear on how it works when an account is tied to a SEA, but I'm sure that it can be done.

I don't mind calling SE again i just don't want to have to pay for different stuff exept if i play.

Also they keep saying my address and phone number is wrong but the rest is OK, but since those 2 are wrong they refuse to help me.

Also i have every CD key exept the POL/FFXI one :O

I got WOG COP and ToA one only

I'm pretty sure you can change this, so whoever took over/bought your account most likely did that.

To change your security question, the other person would have had to know what the original question/answer were.

Either way, from what I've heard the notary form is pretty much 100% to get your account back, provided you actually are the oo.

It's kind of like, "Oh, so you'll give your account from the last half decade to them but you won't let them know your name or address." lolol <_< Might as well have just admitted in the OP that you sold it.

No i didn't sold it yet.

I wanted to sell it to a friend, but like i said i cant find my SE password to give it to him.

When i told mafai i was selling the account it was before i tried my password to make sure i still had it.

Yea, check this. My Last name is my first and my first name is my last and I have no idea how or when that happened but that's how it is on my account.

If you have some way of doing this, I would like to know. This is the last resort option for what they check when people request recalls, I've never heard of any way of changing it.

Every request I have ever made to have that information changed has always been 100% denied, and the phone rep always quotes the rule, something along the lines of it being against ToS to trade, sell, gift, etc any PlayOnline registered property.

I wouldn't imagine the rule has changed! Also, OP: Notary. Without all CD Keys it is your last resort, and it will work, assuming you are either the original owner, know the original owner, or have a friend (or happen to be a) notary who is willing to risk going to jail and/or sacrifice all possible credibility they have in the eyes of the US government for your electronic enjoyment!
