    Why the hell wouldn't they just call them their original FF11 names? Better imo to keep it consistant for future sequels.

    I do need to agree, I know it's supposed to be a different universe and not related to XI in any way but honestly... the new names just sound off to me. Hyur sounds like a grunt than a race name.

    I'm assuming the change was probably due to some religious folks getting upset with their religion being tied in with the image of a cat girl. I guess SE decided if they have to rename one race, they might as well rename the rest. lol

    All religions are copied from each other. And no, they didn't copy Jesus. All of them are actually copied/originated from the story of Ra, the Egyptian sun god. I don't want to have a religious war over this, but it's a little known factoid that people screw up a lot.
