2 RDM/DRK, good BLMs with 2-hour, a BRD, a THF, and stripping damage cap, regen, and ice resist... I don't see what the damage problem is? I went with more, crappier BLMs but think 9 good ones are plenty.How does a group with 9 BLMs for their only damage kill Antaeus or CC?
For Valkurm I don't have any manaburn experience, but it would seem that casting before agro and being able to do so from out of charm range are considerable advantages that melee-burns don't get. CC has less than 40k HP, so you're looking at 4500 damage per BLM. You might want to spread out, or you might want to tag it with Bio II and sync nuke after each charm.
CC is actually very easy to manaburn, First wave of nukes takes it down to 70%~ so you can usually kill before the first CS stun is up. However, I usually take more than 9 BLM's for any CoP zone -tav.
Antaeus on the other hand is a bitch, I wouldn't recommend manaburning it unless you have a solid 24+ memebers because Suttung have to spam tier1 nukes and need 2x CS stun just for that alone.
It's been a while since I did a qufim manaburn, but I remember the last run ended up with 29 drops. It is definitely the hardest zone to clear, but if you do clear the farming after is amazing.
