    Netbook Security

I've searched through some threads and couldn't find any information on a good virus/malware/spy security/scanner for a netbook. I'm willing to pay for it, but if it's free, then it is even better. I have three different netbooks that need the protection. I have two compaqs, one with windows 7 and one with windows XP, and an Acer with windows vista. All have the Intel Atom processor and wouldn't run something that puts a lot of stress on the processor.

So any kind of information on this subject would be appreciated, thanks in advance for the help.

I've run Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 on a Gateway netbook w/ 1.2GHz single-core CPU and 2GB of RAM. Have also installed on plenty of atom netbooks w/ 1GB of RAM and no issues. Any anti-malware program will run under some stress though during malware scan.
