nirokun approves of the no-sex policy! >![]()
just abort the thing and send the slut back into the field
Someone explain to me what brig time is. Google doesn't like me today.
Edit: Nevermind, for some reason my peerguardian was blocking google.
Not gonna lie it just bothers me how sex-crazed soldiers can be sometimes. Not saying they all cheat/have sex while deployed but it seems to be pretty fucking high.
THERE ARE PLENTY OF SINGLE MEN/WOMEN WHO CAN'T GET LAID FOR 10+ YEARS and these guys can't handle 6ish months (ya some longer but that's the usual deployment).
I think the military needs to institute "masturbation time" everyday or some shit.
10+ years? Do you need some help with your problem?
All jokes aside you've overestimated the time some guys cant handle. When I was conscripted there were guys complaining about not getting enough pussy when they either spent 3 hours at camp, got to go home every night, or were spending one weekend at camp once a month. Meanwhile the people who weren't fazed by 3 hours without sex wanted to shoot the guys who were going on and on about how horrible it was.
Already discussed this on vent with you but gotta put it here also on my side of things. First maybe a technical job for the Air Force is 6 months but the actual average for military personel is closer to a year and a half.
Another thing was idk what sex crazy military person hurt you, but when I was deployed to Iraq I didn't know anyone who had sex, but I knew tons that come home to no wife/gf cause they cheated. That is where the term Jody comes from. I would say it is waaaaaaayyy higher the other way around. You said doesn't matter cause they are not the ones breaking the law. I agree that they are not but I am just trying to refute your saying that the military personel are the sex crazed ones.
I do however agree that the people in question should be punished and maybe even jail would be fair. It is in General Order #1 to not have sex. This is for a ton of reasons, when there are 500 men to each woman that could cause a ton of drama. Also family issues, STDs would be bad for the mission, pregnancy would eliminate a soldier and force another to replace them ect. ect.
Should the people in question be punished? YES
Is this the norm? NO
Is there masturbation time? Any chance you get to use the porta pottie
I'm engaged so no
That's pretty pathetic if tbh they can't handle 3 hours.
As someone else said, you signed up for it so deal. Is my viewpoint on it.
This should have dishonorable discharges attatched to it. But thats not all, there should be brig/jail time as well. They should get kicked out of the army, with nothing to show for their efforts if they are just going to try to skirt out of thehazards inherent in thier job posting. But not only that... they should be punished as well. Should be applied to both men and women..
Besides, no sex can turn those soldiers into even better killing machines. And that isnt a bad thing.
I disagree with jail time. Who the fuck wants to give birth in jail? And then stay in jail while their child gets taken to some relative, or worse, foster care? Jail is harsh, so is dishonorable discharge. Loss of rank and pay is plenty in this situation, and as someone who has seen it happen a dozen times, getting knocked down to E1 is pretty damn painful and it sure does make you consider the consequences of your actions.
And yes, cheating on spouses is a two way street. I saw it happen on both sides, the military personnel or the spouse who was left behind.
I'm more surprised Aks doesnt want very strict punishments out of spite.. since noone would bang her while she was on duty
jkilu
Do they not have condoms/bc in the army or something? I really don't see the problem with punishment, although jail time would be a bit harsh, though it hasn't been used yet. It's a waste of the military's training time and a compromise to the mission at hand.
I don't see why people who get married at 18/19 are shocked that their spouses cheat like 90%+ of the time, either.
if sex is against the rules why would they give out condoms?![]()
They don't. But people can send you crap in the mail. Not really supposed to since it is contraband, but I'm sure some do it anyway. Lack of condoms isn't likely to stop people from having sex downrange though. It's a lot of stupid people thinking "Oh, it can't/won't happen to me," and then oops.
A lot of people don't use any common sense really. And I was there, I know that after a while you get a bit lonely, so it's not hard to see why people can't keep their hands off each other. It's a problem, but not really an easy one to fix. We were soldiers, yeah, but we were also human. And while it is a detriment to the overall mission when one soldier has to be sent home early, people act like getting pregnant in Iraq is really common or something, and it's the only reason people get sent home. We had one woman get pregnant in my unit during deployment, and in that time, we had four people injured that needed to get sent home, and not even combat related injuries. So it's not like getting pregnant is the only issue here.
Not only that, I know that not every woman in the military gets pregnant on purpose to avoid deployment. I got pregnant shortly after returning from downrange, and I wasn't trying at all, nor did I expect it, because I expected my birth control to work.
Don't get me wrong, I've seen women who do it to get out of being deployed, and they should be punished somehow. I don't think jail time is warranted, and I don't think that people who honestly happen to accidentally get pregnant before a deployment should be punished when, as life dictates, shit happens.
