What race are you going to be, and why?

I can't decide between a Lalafell or Miqo'te... I was an Elvaan in FFXI, but always wished I had been a Mithra since elf girls looked a little on the manly side.... Lalafell look so cute though so, I think I will make one of each and play each for a bit until I can decide

It's kind of too bad we don't have the tribes represented here. According to eorzeapedia's poll, the dunesfolk are the most popular race, but the plainsfolk are actually second to last (lohengarde wins last place of course). I guess everyone that wants to be a lala would rather be a dunesfolk.

Yea I think I'm gonna try out Miqo'te in the beta (that is, if I ever get in). My Mithra mules were always fun to run around in. But I have a feeling I'm gonna settle on Hyur F (especially since there's enough customization now to make it look like me)

I hope the Miqo'te of XIV have some brutal dual weild animations like they did in XI, they looked so deadly holding katanas and daggers imo!

Will definately try all races in the beta but its leaning towards Miqo'te/Pugalist or Conjurer/Lalafell right now from what I've seen and read.

I think I want to be a miqo'te gladiator or lancer even though I'm a guy. For some reason Hyur doesn't appeal to me. I was a taru in XI and that was a big mistake haha
