I'd rather be drunk so I can ignore my family talking shit about me and avoid being wrong by default even when I'm right.
Omniscience
Omnipotence

I've asked this to people before actually, but I added omnipresent (just to sound fancy, it wouldn't really be that useful unless you were some kind of deity). Most of them said omniscient actually. I agree, I would really like to know everything about everything. Though I somehow doubt my brain can store all that knowledge...
I thought you could take a pill to get rid of Omnipotence?
Well, the average person only uses 10-12% of their brain anyway, so who's to say what we''re really capable of.
And be like STORM, MISTRESS OF THE ELEMENTS?! Fuck yeah omnipotence. Nobody cared what the paraplegic Xavier saw in his mind anyway, he was only good for fucking with people's minds :D
You'd never have to KNOW how to get what you want, you could brute-force it. And frankly, God-Mode was always entertaining (*'-')
Biff? Nah. Give me the chance at omniscience It's just going to be enough to make everyone's lives a little easier. Simpler methods for materials and electrical engineering, a nice expliantion for physics, the cure for cancer and aids, and a general understanding of most ailments would both save society, and our planet. But then again, nice guys do indeed finish last, and karma is a bitch.
Omnipotence, without a doubt. You could advance living at your own pace without knowing the outcome... forcing you to gain knowledge and experience (eventually leading to omniscience).
If you were omniscient, you would know every facet of every outcome and every person and their actions. Not only would that be boring, you wouldn't be able to prevent their (or your) deaths or lives and you would suffer every time you met someone and knew what path their life would take.
I'd rather have the power to change something than know I can never change it.
I think seeing and knowing all, all of life's ups and downs, seeing the good of the world and the horrible all mixed into one mass of shear knowing would drive you crazy.
You know that 547 people are going to die in Thailand tomorrow. So what? What can you do. You know that the cute girl who lives down the hall from you is being raped right now. You know that while your friend just got fired, his boss is diving into hookers and crack on the company dime as he's being evicted from his apartment. And so on, and so on, until human life would either mean nothing to you or you would be driven to the point of utter despair by knowing all of the sadness and being unable to do anything about it.
I'd rather be able to do something about the things I know about than know about all the things I am powerless to stop.
If you draw attention to yourself you're fucked. If you don't, no credit/CASH/bitches? and that would be a waste given you could have chosen omnipotence! You'd become a tool for the highest bidder and when someone buys you for information, everyone that considers your buyer an enemy will want to kill you. Knowing every secret, every loophole, every single weakness in the enemy makes you a powerful tool. Can't have the tool, break it.
Kid1: /plays with blocks
Kid2: I WANT TO PLAY WITH THE BLOCKS, GIMME!
Kid1: I'm not done yet.
Kid2: MINE!
Kid1: NO!
Kid2: FINE! /destroys block castle, forever ruined
Or you could be the kid with superpowers, and always have your way, pretty sweet imo
(Besides, who said you couldn't use omnipotence for good? Falling tree? Fuck yeah caught it like a piece of string, and saved a baby. Neat.)
This isn't true from what I learned from psychology, which could be wrong as I was learning psychology not biology or neurology. The 10-12% you usually hear about is talking about what scientists know about the brain. This is the parts of the brains which can be seen to focus somewhat on one area, like broca's or wernicke's area which deal with speech, though they don't always only do that one thing. Because they are more specialized they are easier to see what they are actually doing. The rest of the brain can be seen to be actually working it's just not as easy to say what it's doing as those parts are not specialized.
Knowledge is power. Omniscience.
Power is power! Omnipotence
Omnipotent totally without a doubt. That way those bitch ass omniscents can see in the future when I'm coming to stomp their arrogant all knowing asses into the ground. I'll never honor those bogus treaties! They'll die in the first wave.
Yeah but an erection lasting more than four hours is bad. Don't you watch tv?god damn it i was going to say this
