i fucked up my FFXI, help wtf

hi,

second attempt in to installing brandson's DICK in my FFXI VAG, the result, i ruinged my dat files and now everytime i wanna log on, says configuring FFXI, etc etc, then says please insert disc1. i dont have the discs

i love brandson's work, i hate how i fail in installing it on my ffxi.

im not very literate when it comes to this kind of shit, plus i get chicken shit. "what if i miss a file, what will happen then" kind of shit.


can someone help? at the moment im backing up my PC, the only thing i could think of. oh yeah and i tried downloading the "backup files" from eiko(?) journal, replaced them with the files i got on my ffxi folder but no luck.

so yeah, someone help. oh yeah and i forgot to mention im camping an NM and its about to pop (i think) which is why im extra frustrated.

ok im re-installing/downloading ffxi all over again..


MY QUESTIONS ARE NOW:

1. will my configs/macros remain?

2. will i need to re-install windower too? since im re-installing ffxi in to another drive/folder, etc.?

3. i used to have US version, now im installing EU, will that effect my settings/macros if i wanna move them from the old(ruined) ffxi to the new one?

if you saved your macros to the server with the shift ctrl alt r thing or whatever the command was at the login screen
