    Monitors

So I just built myself a new system. Intel i5, Radeon 5770, 4GBS ram, etc. And the last thing I need is a new monitor! Right now I'm using an extra monitor my dad has, but I'll need to figure something out when I get back to AZ.

I can't spend a ton, but I obviously want something that works decently well. Good cost/performance ratio.

Monitors are probably the thing I know the least about, so any suggestions are helpful. I'm looking in the 18-20" widescreen range, and the $100 range. obviously these can be a bit flexible depending on what there is out there.

This looks to be the one people are buying? It's a bit cheaper at the microcenter by my house too.

The Acer X2_3W series is good. I've got a X243W, and it rocks for the price. The X223W is a great deal.

Bump! I finally have my funds and the monitor I was going to buy ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145 ) isn't available anymore. I can do the $200 price-range and I thought this one would be good.

I just don't know much about Monitors. Is this a good deal? or is this deal of the week a better bet? Help! What do I get? Do I even get an Acer?

I just got a new Dell S2409W 24" Hi Def monitor. I ordered it from the Dell surplus store on ebay but you can get the same deal from dell.com. $189 and I couldn't be happier.

Only downside is, like the cnet.com video review said, the stand is garbage, so if your desk isn't stable it will wobble a lot. I have a really heavy duty desk to its not a problem for me but the stand blows.
