1000 Needles x18 vs Suzaku

I still do have the unedited clips of the fight, but the fight after the 1000 Needles zerg isn't particularly exciting. We had no deaths during both of these fights. We've always straight tanked Chainspell on all the 74 Suzakus we've killed.

My request was only partly snarky.

I'm genuinely curious how the alliance and pets did during Chainspell. It's somewhat luck what spells he'll cast (or if you happen to have brought a particularly good/lucky RDM to land Silence) - so if he busted out the firagas, I wanted to see how well the Amigos fared.

Pets will usually do just fine, at most a Beastmaster will need two jugs for the entire fight even when not zerging it. Normally we have Summoners avatars tank so the only damage jugs take are from Firaga's and those are decently weak since its hitting so many pets. In the video Amigos only take around 490 damage from Firaga, so they can eat a lot of those before they actually die, and even then we can just call another jug.

If SE ever did make Sun Water a reasonable price it would help us immensely, I think we'd all go crazy. Recently we've been killing Kirin in under thirty minutes with as low as 22 people with just BST, SMN, WHM, RDM, BRD, and COR. Thats even with straight tanking all the summons two hours like Hundred Fists and Chainspell, and not damaging Kirin until all his summons are dead. If BST actually got access to Sun Water at a reasonable price, we'd be able to kill him in 15 minutes probably. For once BST would be a DD at our events rather than a tank.

OT, but it reminded me - I'd much rather have Uragnite jugs than cheaper Sun Water. Sometimes I go down to Purgonorgo just for Uragnite pets because I think they're so neat. Would love to use Uragnites as a sort of RDM tank - heavy DoT TP moves and lots of defense/damage mitigation. Maybe someday...

... and can you pick what ability your pets use now? how do you not get him to use needleshot 100 times before 1000 needles once? O.o
