I have heard it is possible, but the strategy I heard for it was atrocious. *edit*Well, see Cair's post linked above*edit* I don't have that much patience. We're literally talking a 3 hour fight where you have to pay constant attention here.

You're better off going with 2 RDM/NIN and bouncing hate, making Temp run all the way around the square in the room just outside his spawn point (in every tower). Just keep Poison 2 and Bio 2 on him and bring 2+ stacks of Shihei. Use Barspells and Utsusemi to trade hate. Cure each other if necessary. He'll die eventually. If you want to speed up the fight, bring a summoner who knows their shit.

Currently DRK WS set is the following.
    http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=37444

    Death Scythe/Pole Grip/X/Fire Bomblet
Hecatomb Cap/(Flame Gorget or Chivalry Chain)/Brutal Earring/Assault Earring
    Adaman Hauberk/Chaos Gauntlets +1/Triumph Ring/Rajas Ring
    Forager's Mantle/Potent Belt/Onyx Cuisses/Chaos Sollerets +1

My question is, should I be using Abyss Cape and Warwolf belt or a different combination of these back/waist equipment?
2ndly, is N:legs better then Onyx cuisses? I don't have them yet, but I'm hoping Odin puts out another pair soon.

    Any other suggestions also welcomed.

Can I get a typical Drakesbane WS set for Einherjar/Dynamis mobs? 117 DEX for lolColibri but I doubt that set is gonna fly for harder stuff. So I'm guessing I need a STR set for things I can't reach dDEX cap on. Assume Elvaan, 8/8 Polearm, 5/5 STR.

Can't personally speak for dyna, but my 117 dex set works fine for Ejar t1 and t2 (I usually go sam to t3)

Get a 501 Scythe since you have Rajas, Flame Gorget > Chivalrous Chain and you can probably use Warwolf Belt with that gear. N Legs won't outdamage Onyx Cuisses in raw damage but are generally better unless you have capped accuracy with the Onyx.

Thanks for your input. Although I am 1 rank away from getting Perdu Sickle, I believe I will need 8 additional STP when subbing samurai with 501 delay to maintain a 6 hit. Rajas, Brutal leave me needing 2 more. Should I just get the Rose Strap, or Ecphoria Ring + Chiv Chain? Is there something else I'm missing?

    DRG dDEX Set:http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=109278

    Notes
    - You can replace Heca Hands+1 with DRG AF+1 for the same DEX
    - It's possible that it might work in Einherjar, but the AGI values of those mobs are currently unknown
    - To cap dDEX on Mamools, you need roughly 140DEX to cap against every mob except THF and NIN, so don't bother trying

    DRG STR Set: http://www.ffxiah.com/members/?q=ite...&set_id=130348

    Notes
    - Mostly useful for mobs you cannot cap critical hit against
    - Focuses on capping fSTR and ACC
    - If no Valk Fork, change Sword Strap to Pole Grip to maintain a 6-hit build
    - If no Valk Fork, Hecatomb Body will be viable for more STR and more ACC

Thx Yugl. Also, you have 3 extra dex in your Colibri set (ffxiah puts rajas as 2 instead of 5) can swap pixie for triumph OR swap cuch and nq cap for cerb+1 and hq cap.

Why is your Hecatomb Cap NQ when the rest is HQ? Pretty gimp I must say.

The other HQs are much more common and cheaper. That and it's not so easy of an abjuration that you'll obtain a second one just for HQ purposes (At least not here). In short, it's much more realistic.

I was unaware of that. That will help in fixing future sets!

Edit: If that's the case, you have two extra options. One, NQ some of those pieces if HQ cannot be obtained. Two, if you're using Thalasso or Fay with at least DEX+2, you can change L Torque to Flame Gorget (3 extra DEX + 2 from weapon).

Two things personally for a non-dex set I am pretty sure Ares hands + Body will beat heca hands + aurum, or heca, since it's 16 str 24 att 10 acc vs 16 str 15 att 13 dex[9.75 acc], so lets you give up dex for small crit% at best for +9 att, and +.25 acc more str, and acc if heca hands are NQ. Assuming you don't need the acc off heca body that is but if you need acc drop cerb +1 to cuch before ares body to heca since it's 24 att vs 10 acc, compared to 15 att vs 8.75 acc, meaning you're giving up 2.4 att per acc on body, and 1.71 att per acc on back.

Hello ! Here is my question :

When I'm calculating Attack, there is +8 Attack that comes out of nowhere, why is that ?

I'm a Hume Male Samurai/Warrior hand I have counted Attack Bonus.

    Polearm Skill 256: 256
    STR 105: 78,75
    Attack from Equipment: 37
    Attack Bonus /WAR: 10

381 Attack + 55 from capped Attack Marinara Pizza +1
    436

    In game I have 444.

I tried also with /PLD and being naked, still got +8 from idk where :O

    Thanks.

    2 Handed Attack = {( 8 + Combat Skill + 3STR/4 + (+attack from gear) + (+attack trait/ability/minuet)) * berserk effect (if available)} * (1+ percentage increase from food )

The aurum body is to maintain the 6-hit build. In that specific set, the grip is Sword Strap. If you're not sporting a Vork (In which case, no Sword Strap), you'll be able to change the body piece a bit. Without the Heca Mitt's DEX, your ACC changes from 432 ACC to 427. For BLU Mamools (To take a generic mob), you need 430 ACC. For Troll MNKs, you need 431 ACC. Since this set is intended for mobs of higher status, I find it necessary to at *least* meet those standards. Hence, I believe the ACC is important in these situations.

At the same time, notice about the Rajas Ring stat and your post leave me to review this set and make corrections as I find them. More specifically, I'll work on a mega ACC set for crazy monsters and one that does not involve Vork since Vork tends to change DRG's builds tremendously.

    In short, incoming sets.

How does my changes drop your acc when Ares hands have +10 ACC making up for the acc lost from dex of heca hands, and Aurum body, and then some. I am saying exact same set minus fork/grip, and swap body/hands to ares for the str set.
