Does Flashy Shot work on barrage or is for Slugwinder only?
Does Flashy Shot work on barrage or is for Slugwinder only?
I was referring to Ares Body + Ares Hands v Heca Body + Heca Hands. Anyways, I've decided to make two types of sets depending on whether or not you are using Vork.
DRG (1) [431ACC Goal|STR Based|Vork]: http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=130348
Notes
- The goal of this set is to reach 431ACC then maximize STR and ATT
- Used in conjunction with Pizza
- Designed for DRGs with full merits
- Aurum body is to maintain your 6-hit build while using Sword Strap
- In comparison to the next set, it offers roughly 1% critical hit at the cost of 9ATT
- Can be used by Non-Vork players if Sword Strap is changed to Pole Grip
DRG (2) [431ACC Goal|STR Based|Non-Vork]:http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=131077
Notes
- The goal of this set is to reach 431 ACC then maximize STR and ATT
- Used in conjunction with Pizza
- DRG with full merits
- Offers 9ATT at the cost of 1% Critical hit
- Cannot be used by Vork players using Sword Strap
DRG (3) [450ACC Goal|STR Based|Vork and Non-Vork]:http://www.ffxiah.com/item_sets.php?id=131091
Notes
- The goal of this set is to reach 450ACC before maximizing STR
- Used against incredibly evasive monsters
- Used in conjunction with Pizza
- DRG with full merits
- If using Vork, make the following changes: Pole Grip => Sword Strap | Hecatomb Body => Aurum Body
So I want to get a Rose Strap, but I'm from Bastok.
I heard you can do this to get it more cheaply without losing rank.:
- Switch to San D'oria once I have 30k Notes.
- Buy the Rose Strap for the "normal" price.
- Switch back to Bastok.
Would this have any effect on my nation quests or anything involving WotG Missions? I hope not...
What is the best way of farming Euvhi organs for Relaxing Earring? I'm 0/28 in the Garden as TH3 THF + boxed RDM. Is the drop rate substantially worse in the Grand Palace? I'm starting to wonder if TH even helps...would be easier to just go BLM + RDM.
tldr: QQ farming euvhi organs blows
Let's put it this way. I was soloing on thf with TH3 for the organs in the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi for over 15 hours and I didn't get one single organ in that one day. Came back, the next day and got two organs in the span of 12 hours. Then I was stuck getting the last organ and I said screw it and went to The Garden of Ru'Hmet on blm and got my last organ within 10 mobs along with a HQ organ too.
Was 5/95 in the Garden without TH, most of the time was solo BLM, sometimes had a RDM to duo with.
Kill the higher level Euvhis in the "Inner sea area" to get organs. They have about a 10% drop rate on NQs and HQs as opposed to the "Outer sea area's" 1% drop rate.
I soloed them on BLM/RDM and averaged about 2 organs (HQ or NQ) per xp band (2000xp ->3000xp).
BLM/RDM and BRD/THF duo got me a gorget in about an hour and a half.
I've done 5 Gorgets, Euvhi organs are a completely different beast. Ended today at 0/42 roughly standing at the Aern room before the northern tower pulling the 2 Aw'euvhis from each side (4 total).
Was looking at wiki, at the wyrm king descends information, says he has 25,000 HP.
this seems really low (as in the two DRKs with krakens in my LS could kill it in about 30secs in ideal conditions)
is it really this easy? I'd be able to get 7-8 really well geared Dd's for this. I get that he builds at resistance to stun fast, and if he's not finished fast, you're fecked, similiar to kirin if he gets all his pets out at once.
another question, is there a simple forumla for working out which cure generates more enmity (for cure cheat on PLD)
i.e. 370 HP cured with 40enmity vs
340 HP cured with 45 enmity
Enmity is multiplied at the end, such that [ Final CE Component of Enmity ] = [ CE ] * 1 + [ Enmity/100 ], using his notation.Originally Posted by Kaeko
Using your examples above and just comparing CEs since VEs are just proportional to it etc,
370hp with 40 enmity:
CE = 0.7273 * 370 * 1.4 = 376.7414 (I am unsure whether it is floored between steps etc so I'll just give you the whole decimal)
340hp with 45 enmity:
CE = 0.7273 * 340 * 1.45 = 358.5589
Hopefully you can see that since both numbers are just multiplies, the greatest increase in enmity generated will be caused by the greatest increase in value. Basically, capping HP with lower enmity in gear is almost always better.
Thanks, that's very easy to understand.
