Going yellow and becoming idle are two different things, it will be yellow for a couple of seconds before it gets out of its 'engaged' stance and becomes idle again, that's when it resets.
Interesting. Appreciate the clarification.
It never became idle (people were still on hate list) so the rage timer wasn't affected. Had the LS wiped due to rage and everyone died with no other linkshells having hate on it, then it would reset.
This is wrong, aslong as hate list is clean it will reset, stance changing doesn't matter.
Edit: There are two lists for each mob, hate list is who actually has hate and must die before it becomes idle, you can remove yourself from this by zoning or logging off also. The second list has all the enmity you've accumulated and the only way to remove yourself from this list is to die or be logged off/out of zone when it looks for you.
It may be harder to see on some mobs than others(I think wyrms put wings up when engaged?), a really easy one was Simurgh when some gimps wiped to it, its idle/engaged stances are very different with the wings so it was easy to tell when it went back to normal, which was about 2 seconds after it went yellow...and for the record it did have Dia on it when it went idle and timer still reset.
As I said already, the timer is reset the instant there is no targets left on hate list. Two gimps wipe to Sim and are only people on hate list, you claim the instant they die (before its stance goes back to idle) and timer is still reset.
Now that you mention it, there was some grumblings about an outside person from another LS curing one of their tanks at some point early on in their fight (no blockaid). That must have been the last person on the hate list when they wiped, which kept rage from resetting, as you said. Kind of weird that Faf didn't go after him after their wipe though.
Been crafting for a while now, but I was recently told that having a Furnishing that gives Moghancement: <insert craft> Skill only needs to be active, and I didn't need Overwhelming Elemental Energy for it to give the +1 skill. Is there any truth to that or is it safe to have the Overwhelming message?
Whats the best mob to fight for getting 230 or 240 dagger skill for a lv 75 brd only character? I feel it would be nice for me to be able to use evisceration during campaign instead of being dependent on spirits within for wsdamage. I already tried kuftal crabs and they didn't give any skillups at all.
Steelshells in Bohyada, same as any job trying to cap a skill at 75.
Or get into a 2 brd meripo, make the other brd pull and pull out ur daggers whenever u can!!
Mordant Rime is also kind of fun and definitely worth the effort imho if you have been doing a bit of Nyzul Isle.
For BRD-only I'd probably party up and head to Bohyada, although I usually break latents in Sky on flamingos. More peaceful, and aggro free for nonmages.![]()
Why do leaders always pick tank jobs?
Don't even have to be leader anymore. Leader's right nut sucker can also get an Aegis. After he's done, his left nut sucker can finish Apoc.
And yes, I do hope he reads this.
