have gaiters, use blm a metric shit ton. dont tank on rdm ever. but i do solo in campaign/duo SCNM mobs on rdm/nin
Maybe haste and PDT? Or haste and acc if you melee on rdm?
Are the formulas from the lower section of the pDIF page on otherwiki 'correct', as far as we know? Also, I know Masamune started threads on other sites to try finding the base crit rate on Raging Rush; did he ever start one here? I tried searching, but nothing jumped out at me. I downloaded his spreadsheet with the last testing results he had compiled, but I'm a little confused. He has the primary hit as a base 17.55%, with secondary hits at 21%. That would mean a cap of 41.55% for the first hit and 45% for subsequent hits, does that sound right?
Using the search function I found some decent strategies for Ethniu and Burainech but those were dated back in late November. Does anyone have a new strategy for these NM, possibly a low man strat that's reliable? I'm looking for a new "event" to replace ZNMs, any help would be appreciated.
anyone ever try ele staves w/ automaton nuking?
Why is it people are stupid and sell red curry buns for less then it costs to get all the mats? -_-
What ever happened to Amunaptra?
In windower, what are X and Y coordinates or whatever you use to place the recast window? Sick of it being over other windows. I was looking for something possibly right over the chat box. Or something similar that would be out of the way of everything else.
Well, I was more thinking about damage mitigation than spell interruption.
I'm not really sure spell interruption can be taken into account as a proof shield can block TP moves. It is possible to recast shadows though Tp moves without even having a shield. Any war/nin that casted Ichi in merits right when Pecking Furry goes off knows what I'm talking about: there is a small window allowing you to recast the spell even while taking the hits, so I guess same windows exists for other mobs as well.
I also believe spell interruption have a minimal activation rate, just like hit rate or evasion rate.
I'm also surprised not to get a massive "yes" or a massive "no" about this. I'm pretty sure shield cannot do anything on TP moves because I think I would have noticed it by now, but I'd like to get other's points of view as well.
I'm talking about undeniably taking a TP move mid-cast that should have otherwise interrupted the spell.
Casting utsusemi instantly after pecking flurry only works because the damage happens instantly. The monster graphic will still be pecking at you even though you've taken the damage a fraction of a second before. A better way to explain that would be with a BLM and a MNK. If the MNK Asuran Fists the BLM during a spell, it will likely interrupt. But if the BLM starts casting while the MNK is in the middle of the Asuran Fists graphic it's much less likely he will be interrupted.
I always gear swap to a shield skill build when shadows are down. That and my horrible ninjutsu skill leads me to believe that the handful of times this has happened are due to a shield block.
I use these
use Text plug-in, in your init.txt put anywhere after 'load Recast':
load Text
.text devset RecastDisplay align right
then for X/Y
X= <your x-resolution>-140
Y= <your y-resolution>-140
(ie, if you use 1200x750, put X=1060 and Y=610)
works better if you have
[Recast_BGColor]
Visible=0
this should align recast timers on the right and put timers onto the up-right corner of the chatbox, if you set Visible=0 it doesn't show the black background so the background will be the chatbox itself
Ok, thank you! And terriblly sorry. I completely forgot to post resolution but it worked.Thanks!
