Yes, it really is.
What the fuck, no, just no. You're clearly talking Greater Colibri because of "1300 average", which is also complete and utter bullshit, especially with no Minuets, and Sushi because elsewhere would be Marinara Pizza+1. Average Gekko would be less than that and average penta would be higher, someone could do quick math to show that I'm sure. Oh and wait, Pachipachio is better than Hagun so the GKT WS damage would be lower, right?
Hey guys, let's compare a 75 SAM with 8 GKT merits, Justice Torque AND Bushi to a 75 SAM with just capped Polearm skill. You are as fucking stupid as pchan, I OBVIOUSLY assumed 8/8 Polearm and Love Torque with good gear including a 5-hit. Sushi is only for Greater Colibri and I was talking about Einherjar and Limbus, you can throw Dynamis Cities, Mamools and other things in there too though.
lol@French using the Queen's English, one should GTFO and go to French forums where you can all be retarded together. I nowhere said: "Polearm always beats birds, even if you have no Polearm merits, eat sushi and have no buffs" so your entire post is a load of pointless shit.
One of the things you see spammed on BG is, "rotate BRDs in Einherjar" so noone here can act like you have little to no buffs there (which is what my original post said), but go ahead and contradict yourself like you always do. It is a high buff situation where you can use Polearm (Merits, 5-hit, Marinara Pizza+1 and decent gear, none of which are hard to get or do) will for the most part be better than Great Katana.
They're in the same LS bro. The LS where apparently DNC outdamages COR and where 15% defense down is better than 15% haste.You are as fucking stupid as pchan
I don't use spellcast and I've just started using windower macros, what exactly does my text file have to say to add hmp gear to CTR+H AND ALT+H? I know it would be something like "bind ^h" etc.
Straw man fallacy, you mentioned SCH in that post which implicitly means losing 15% haste.
not a techincal question, but when did pol remove their phone/online chat service, the only kind of contact I see now is via email
You think polearm sam can manage with pizza in einherjar, so you probably think meat is good for GK then. it's not, you have to eat sushi with polearms, pizza with GK, unless your bards/cor are giving acc buffs which isn't a good idea for the non sam dds. Ive never done the maths of GK versus polearm at birds, I was just mentionning a merit pt where I parsed myself with hagun versus engetsuto. I Took the average polearm melee and ws damage, versus the average melee/gekko dmg, and did some computations to find that GK was slightly better, due to not having attack buffs in this pt ( 2xmarch).
If you do not get big attack/accuracy buffs, and the mob isnt weak to peircing, polearm sucks, it should be obvious. I did recently a parse on the bird mobs inside dynamis-buburimu with crab sushi and was still not capping accuracy, just to give an example.
On SAM? No.it's not, you have to eat sushi with polearms
yes.
Asking again since I can't seem to get a response either here or @ windower forums, and I know someone here knows...need a fix for Spellcast trying to equip my grip before it does the staff. My current aftercast rules look like this:
That <cmd> fix I tried isn't working, I'm pretty sure there was another fix that I saw but I've been unable to find it via search.Code:<if status="idle"> <if advanced="$Mdef = 1"> <equip when="aftercast|idle" set="MDef" /> </if> <elseif advanced="$Pdef = 1"> <equip when="aftercast|idle" set="PDef" /> </elseif> <else> <equip when="aftercast|idle" set="Normal" /> </else> <cmd when="aftercast">wait .2;input /equip sub "Bugard Strap +1"</cmd> </if>
Last night's Odin summoned the first set of Valks at 79%...and then never summoned another set. At 12% I sent in a pair of SAMs to drive it to Zantetsuken...at 7% it still had not used it and we proceeded to kill it without it doing Zantetsuken or summoning a second set of Valks.
Anyone else have this happen before?
I would make a gear set with the grip in it and make it say
set="Normal|Strap"
set="PDef|Strap"
set="MDef|Strap"
I've never had grip issues, though. My BLM spellcast has at least 4 grip swaps that I can think of. If you would put your whole spellcast into a spoiler tag or something, maybe it could be fixed another way.
The grip is in the gearsets, when it attempts to equip the grip as part of the gearset it tries to equip the grip before it equips the staff sometimes, which results in the 'cannot equip grip without a 2-handed weapon blahblah' error. The <cmd> line was just an attempted fix that didn't work.
Sounds like your Odin glitched. There have been cases of monsters with stereotypic behavior glitching before (ZNM Hydra, etc). There was probably some condition it had to fulfill to continue its regular routine that wasn't fulfilled due to a combination of luck and sloppy coding.
We've got to 12% with only one set of Valks before by killing fast, but then he spam summoned the rest right around Zantetsuken.
