Thinking of redoing MNK cat1 merits. Did Counter rate/Kick attacks a long time ago, and want to do Focus recast now instead. Which one of the two would be wiser to drop?

Should work, I would push for an extra refresh in the BLM pt yes, although you could just rotate the RDM. BLMs alternate AM2ing the pets with the halve mp cost stratagem.

He was probably realized that MNK is so shitty that unless he has full Usukane, it's best to gimp the DMG of the other DDs so that he doesn't look bad on the parser.

Heca is only for Mandau WS I believe. Otherwise, it would be Antares.

Done the math? I've been told that Hect beats skadi for unstacked DE when my acc is capped before.

12 str(heca) is ~3 base damage on DE, 8 DEX(antares/skadi) is 2.4. Given that antares gives 12 acc and heca gives 10, I'd generally opt for antares unless acc is capped. A mirke(with any augments) has the base STR+5 DEX+5 which amounts to 2.75 base damage as well, for another option.
For unstacked with acc capped, heca > mirke > skadi > antares > w.e. Really though, how often is it going to be both unstacked AND acc capped?.. get an antares and stick with it.

Feint every 2 minutes, 426ish acc on DE with N body, I could get it to 430 if i got off my lazy ass and bought oily trousers assuming pizza+1. It's easier than you think. That Covers anything with lower eva than a MMJ pikeman including the pikeman. If I fight anything stronger I can usually just pop a feint. It's often enough to care about.

Though, I have another question. I updated to Spellcast 2.30 and now I'm getting some weird error about invalid expression and both operands must be of type bool and regenx whatever. I ran through the XML updater thing, but it doesn't fix it. This is for my Blm XML.

Of course. Asuran Fists is basically eight swings compacted into a weapon skill which, unless you're packing Fighter's Roll and some other pretty hefty DA potential, is going to be more swings than would have fit in that window
