Maybe the fact 108 Republicans voted against the 2010 appropriation bill for the Department of Homeland Security which included funding for explosives detection systems and other aviation security measures that could have possibly detected this? Maybe the fact the top Transportation Security Administraion spot has been empty for the past year simply because the nominee is not anti-union?

I could go on and on, what with me being an intelligence personnel in the military and my wife a TSA supervisor at LAX but I'm sure they'll be some political jerkfest started off by people who have no idea how things work in these kinds of scenarios.

Put all the Dodgy ppl on the No Fly, or extra-super interrogate all them instead of simply casting the same wide net of restrictions that do nothing but make travel annoying for the 99.99% of us.

In the wake of serious incidents that threaten hundreds of people, I would like more strength projected from the administration. It's actually very important. It's lacking in this situation.

The TSA instead has decided to annoy its passengers more instead of actually making airlines safer. Obama and the gang have played out the typical strategy of pretending (I hope) to not take the situation seriously.
