Weird noise when FFXI is running

When ffxi is not running my sound is regular, but as soon as the FFXI screen comes up and i log in every sound my computer makes turns into BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. This includes youtube, calls, and music. Anyway to fix this?

I did a file check in FFXI, i had a messed up file that i repaired, and it fixed the problem .

Have you tried updating your sound drivers? If you have tried that and it didnt work, are you running full screen FFXI? If so, try running any other full screen game and see what happens.
