<3 howard!
I want a Squier Super-Sonic bad. I heard Canadians will buy a testicle for $10,000.
im at 1,300/2,400 on a carvin, should have the extra cash in 2 months at the rate im going. slowly becoming a huge dimarzio fan so thats inflating the cost :<
I almost never change anything major (on account of being broke) but I've been looking at some lace sensors.
We kinda guitar-fag'd this thread up.
Howie is my broski.
fuck them this is more important
My writing is getting too progressive. My hands are barely still anymore. I think I might have an addiction.
Shut the fuck up guitar-fags
Spoiler: show
i only do compositional guitar stuff and everything is all me so it takes a really long time to get stuff done. still, my room is setup all badass with my keyboard at the end of my bed and my guitars in misc places all over the room. days like today i just sit with my guitar at my keyboard learning stuff by tab and typing stuff up while im playing. its a pretty sweet life for now. really have a feel for all of the modes now so my stuff is getting more complex and i love it
I usually learn other people's songs when I get frustrated with my own stuff, or just tired of writing.
I can only explain my style as The Fall of Troy's Doppelganger, but with less pull-offs, more alternate picking, and two-hand tapping.
As for guitars I have a cheap strat, an Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and my grandfather's Kent hollowbody.

he'll kill me if i scratch this thing
agiles will usually do more for the money than an epi
i learn anything that i like hearing enough to want to be able to recreate in my own stuff. i try to incorporate everything from satch and vai to tool to rihanna (lol), but i change all the time based on my mood
im not really a toaster fan
I was actually looking at an Agile Valkyrie a while ago. Some dude playing Tera Melos on youtube recommended it, so like all advice I get on the internet, I took it.
I don't even know where to begin with my influences. Out of everything, 70's prog, and today's Math Rock hit me the hardest.
I own a Les Paul standard, but I have to say this guitar plays beautifully
anything that uses the emotional quality of scales well will catch my ear, and any rhythms that have a sort of unrelenting, emotionless feel to them catch my ear as well. so really, anything with a lot of emotion or completely devoid of emotion. kind of a strange combination but yea
Also had no idea Jeff Buckley used one, that is awesome
Dude, Jeff Buckley is awesome. I heard Grace for the first time this year. Matter of fact, I've found all kinds of great music this year.
Zalius, check out this band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ho4-tExpTE
That whole album is great.
