maybe if I come in to some money I will get one, but $3000-4000+ for a guitar is pretty nuts

I just want a Super-Sonic, but they've been out of production since about 2002. Original run ended in 97'. Squier's Vista series was too good.
that was fuckin trip dude
been diggin on 10 years pretty hard again, really love the form (content and context more though).
they scrapped this version of the song in favor of a more mellow (and synthd) track, which is a shame because i honestly think this is their best song
YEAH HOWARD YOU'RE MY BITCH YOU DO WHAT THE FUCK I TELL YOU TO AND STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY THREAD
That was pretty sweet. The interval leaps in his singing remind me of Tool in a strange kind of way.
everything from their first CD has a huge tool vibe to it. the second cd is way too much studio production for my tastes but i still have hope for their third album because enough of their fans were vocal about how much they disliked all of the synth thats been added
its a shame legit guitarists never show any personality in bands like that, but that's probably because of personal ego clashes and not a legitimate creation of music. i've seen local kids tear up at shows with sweep tapping during bridges with 2 singers singing and sounding better than anything i've ever heard out of a studio, yet somehow that stuff never finds its way to the rest of the world
Man, I was literally just talking about the same thing. Some of the most intense stuff ever I've experienced at small shows. It's a shame that most of the world misses out on stuff like that. It seems today's music isn't about talent or expression, it's about getting a hook stuck in the listeners head.
There's a few underground bands that come to mind that tear shit up: check out Oh No It's Birds, and Tiny Moving Parts on Myspace.
I love kaliden even though i don't give a shit about guitars.
I'm cool with that.
going to right now, not going to sleep til 3 or 4 tonight (getting sleep cycle ready for new years) so i have mucho music time right now
becoming a fan of these guys as well
I like that. It's got punk energy and vocals, without crappy guitars.
It'd be cool if I could understand a word of that.
fuck you new romantics
its only rock and roll
this is our religion
and why do you have to understand words to like music? sounding mighty clonely there kyo
what i've discovered about screaming is its like the rest of music; you have to listen to it for a while before you can understand it. really have to find something that sparks your interest or you'll never get into it. some people dont sit well with it though, but thats all preference
Circle Takes the Square. I couldn't stand them at first, but the second time, I heard their song Kill the Switch and I fell in love. The male/female dynamic, clean and all sorts of harsh vocals. Getting into screaming opened me up to all sorts of bands.
Howard I am so hungry but I'm afraid to eat cause my stomach still feels sick from earlier
Or maybe the pain is just because I haven't ate in so long. Holy shit, I don't think I ate anything today.
I got something you ate right here.
