I didn't know that any of them were in it before I bought it. They all started talking and my wife was asking me why I was giggling like a school girl. The firefly cast reunion of sorts is one of the biggest reasons I bought it, lol.

So ya that is all the games I found fun that I bought thins year. Have a lit more but ya.
Yeah I forgot to add Dragon Age onto my list as well. Meh whatever. We need to make a top 5 games you're waiting for in 2010 thread. And I'm not doing it because I'm lazy so I assign one of you minions to do it! Snell!!
10. UFC Undisputed 2009-First truly great MMA game.
9.Halo Wars
8.GoW Collection
7.NBA 2k10
6.Madden 10
5.Halo ODST
4.CoD Mw2
3.Uncharted 2
2.Mass Effect 1 (Played through it 5 more times this year, amazing game)
1. NHL 10
10. Resident Evil 5 - I actually had a lot of fun with this once I went back after beating it once. Really looking forward to the DLC packs.
9. Dead Space Extraction - My biggest surprise on my newly acquired Wii this year. Dead Space was great, DS:E really made me fall in love with the franchise.
8. inFamous - Some annoying moments in this game and I still think Cole was a bit underpowered but still a lot of fun.
7. Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time - I loved the changes they've made to this series, which has always been one of my favorites. A little on the short side but R&C games are always full of replay value.
6. Batman: AA - Just long enough to avoid pissing me off, but really enjoyable.
5. Borderlands - I decided to get this one last minute and I'm really glad I did. Normally I don't like FPSs but this made me try out new ones I normally wouldn't.
4. Shadow Complex - Sadly my first Metroidvania game, but it made me realize that this game has all the things I love. Really hope they bother to make a sequel.
3. Dragon Age Origins - Pure awesomeness, only way I could have been happier is if the codex had voice narration like Mass Effect.
2. Assassin's Creed 2 - Loved the gameplay improvements from #1, but it's the revelations/mysteries in the underlying plot that really captivated me. Starting up this game is like getting into a warm bath, lol.
1. Uncharted 2 - I never though I'd end up with this as my #1 game but it really did live up to the hype for me. I don't think I'm going to be physically capable of waiting another 2 years for Uncharted 3.
edit: Not mentioned: Demon's Souls (which I was kinda already tired of by the time it came out in the US), and Wolfenstein (which I really liked, much to my surprise).
2009 sucked.
1. Pokemon Platinum!
2. Star Ocean 2 remake?
3. Nostalgia
4. Star Ocean 4
??? nothing else I can think of
On the other hand I can think of a bunch of good solid titles from 2008, oh well.
1. Borderlands
2. Assassin's Creed II
3. Infamous
4. Scribblenauts
5. Fat Princess
6. New Super Mario Bros Wii
7. Pokemon Platinum
8. Forza 3
still have a bunch of games i havent had the chance to open/play yet, including uncharted 2
Pretty sure he's talking about Star Ocean: Second Evolution for psp.
I realized the other day that both SO evolution boxes make the earth.
Port, remake, same thing. The question mark is cause I dunno if a port/remake of a game counts as a new game, although the topic doesn't say new games, just games of 2009, meh.
1. Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2
2. Fat Princess
3. C&C RA3: Uprising
4. Resident Evil 5
5. M.A.G.
6. Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith
7. Mini Ninjas
I haven't really played anything else, rest are a bunch of d/l only games from PSN that i wish i could get my money back from.
I have not a clue ow UC2 was not on my list... Its number 1 lol
I only bought 3 2009-release games this year:
3. FF Dissidia
2. Pokemon Platinum
1. NHL10
Wow just realised that many of the games I've been playing this year were actually released back in 2008 or before. o_O
So games that I've enjoyed playing that were released this year (in no particular order)
Resident Evil 5 (PS3) ~ Yeah It wasn't like the older games but as much as people bitched about it, I found it really addictive and fun to play. Loved the mercenary modes too! <3
Arkham Asylum (PS3) ~ Loved the whole atmosphere to this game, loved the quirky little puzzles in the game and the battle system was fun too.
Crystal Defenders (PSN) ~ Tower Defense x Final Fantasy! I didn't expect this game to entertain me so much. It was fun but my only complaint is it left me wanting more challenges.
Professor Layton & The Diabolical Box (DS) ~ I love the professor Layton series and it's been a long wait for this since the release of the first game. The usual mix of quirky puzzles and sleuthing returns in the same format as the 1st game but with some fun new minigames (Love the hamster game xD). Now they just need to hurry up and translate the 3rd and 4th games. Details of the 5th game 'The Secret Mask' have already emerged in Famitsu! Hope they include the London Life minigame in the future releases. ^^
Final Fantasy Dissidia (PSP) ~ I wouldn't say this game is a masterpiece but it was fun to play and I've already clocked far too many hours playing it and I'm still far from finished. It can get a bit repetitive but it's a great game to go back to every once in a while.
Games that weren't released this year that I've been playing but deserve a mention are;
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP)
Final Fantasy VII (PSP)
Final Fantasy IV (DS)
No More Heroes (Wii)
Pokemon Platinum (DS) *Was this 08 or 09?*
Didn't want to make a thread for this link alone but I found this pretty amusing. Game of the year 2009 related.

No particular order:
Dissidia
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Patapon 2
Resident Evil 5
Borderlands
Halo 3: ODST
Killzone 2
Assassin's Creed 2
Valkyria Chronicles (Finally got around to getting it now that it's $20!)
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
Borderlands PC - That game doesn't take itself seriously, the graphics style was a nice change from other changes, hella fun in coop multiplayer. Just a fun game.
Dragon Age Origins PC - Best "classic CRPG" (i.e. pseudo-turn-based, you control a full group) that was released for years. Good story, not too easy, your decisions actually affect quests.
Geometry Wars Evolved 2 from XBLA - Friends got a 360, we got hooked to this instantly.
Aion aion aion aion aion aion aion aion aion - Nice hack&slay MMO to kill some time.
I also got a PS3 w/ Uncharted 2 which my gf likes.
Dunno if Katamari Forever was a 2009 or 2008 game. OK Mr. Sunshine!
