Can't be prime time because dallas has appeared already 4 times which i think is the max a team can appear on primetime in the regular season.

Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Matt Ryan played really well in his return, but Tampa also played incredibly well in their last game. Tampa rides the bravado and wins a close one.
First off, Matt Ryan's return was actually against the Jets. >.> But who really cares. They aren't in the playoff picture anyway. Disagree on the pick too.

As far as the rest, I disagree on the San Fran pick too, but agree on pretty much everything else. D:

Not gonna bring up my predictions, because quite frankly, I was terrible. At least I still picked the Colts..

Now that Ive shelled out the dough for tickets to the Meadowlands on Sunday (50 yd line upper, woot), I'm predicting a 7-6 loss to the cincy backups.

Okay then lesse how we did here..
NFC East: New York Giants or Philadelphia Eagles
    NFC North: Chicago Bears
    NFC South: New Orleans Saints
    NFC West: San Francisco 49ers

    AFC East: New England Patriots
    AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
    AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
    AFC West: San Diego Chargers

    Wild Card Picks
    AFC: Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins
    NFC: Giants/Eagles, Green Bay Packers
Yikes... what a mess! The Eagles are in and still have a shot at the division at least..

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-

Ah well, on to this week and playing for the glory hole!

Indianapolis at Buffalo - After the shit they pulled last week, why not?
    Jacksonville at Cleveland - Pfffft
    Chicago at Detroit - Pfffft
San Francisco at St. Louis - I'm not as confident in the Rams as you are Tyche!
Pittsburgh at Miami - I just have this feeling, ya know? Miami at home with playoff hopes on the line..
NY Giants at Minnesota - Only playoff implications here is whether the Vikings get a first-round bye or not. They'll play for it.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Pfffft
New Orleans at Carolina - Pfffft
New England at Houston - Like last week, the first string will stay in just long enough for the game to be relatively secure. After that they'll be on standby to give some of the younger players a bit of experience.
Green Bay at Arizona - OK.. Both teams are in the playoffs, but the seeding isn't set yet from what I can tell. If the Cards win they could solidify the 4 seed and MIGHT end up playing the Packers two weeks in a row; If not they could end up as a 6 playing the Vikings. Wait.. why does it matter IT'S THE FRIGGIN CARDINALS they're one-n-done no matter what right?!
Washington at San Diego - The Chargers are not the Colts. They'll do something like the Pats are planning - get a comfortable lead then send in the second string.
    Tennessee at Seattle - Pfffft
Baltimore at Oakland - So who do ya think will sign Richard Seymour next year?
Philadelphia at Dallas - Decemberitis strikes back too late to stop the lolboys from making the playoffs, but in time to stop them from winning the division.
Kansas City at Denver - Pfffft
Cincinnati at NY Jets - The Jets spoiled the Pats last year by losing. They'll spoil about 5 other teams this year by getting a comeback win in a game where Cincy benches its starters in the second half.

Us Yankee fans all enjoyed Papelbon's "stare of doom" turn into tears after Vladdy lined that ball into center... Mariano he ain't. At least Brady gets it done when shit's on the line.

Hopefully he goes back to the patriots, our d-line needs the help, this fat fuck needs to stop being so greedy and play for what he's worth.

The max is 6, probably had more to do with not wanting Dallas to be primetime 4 weeks in a row, or that the New York viewer market is bigger than Dallas/Philly.

Dallas/Philly game is pretty much a wash, it will most likely come down to who has the better day, Miles Austin or DeSean Jackson. Cowboys held Jackson to 29 yards in Week 9.

Philly has the better offense, Dallas has the better defense.

I think Dallas is better equipped to make it far in the playoffs (best nfc defense, good QB play), if DJax has a bad game the Eagles have been pretty inconsistent.

I just realized Miles Austin's stats would be nuts if he started the first 4 games of the year.

I'd say their Defenses are comparable. Oh yeah, and the Eagles are +15 in turnover ratio compared to +1 for the cowboys. Remember, the turn over is Romo's signature trademark.

Better equipped? Sure. But individually talented players don't mean shit when it comes to team play. Otherwise Regular Season Peyton would be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy every other year. It's going to take a huge team effort for 4 full quarters. Fuck this conservative mode offensive cordinators like to coast on when they have a 3 point lead heading into the 4th.

I think this will be a game were special teams will make all the difference. The team that gets good field position, punt/KO returns, and turnovers off punt/KO will win the game. And Dallas needs to smash Philly in the mouth early to have any hope. When they are down by 2 possessions or more, their confidence goes out the door and reflects their play. Not exactly comforting for a team who talks like they are going to do work in the playoffs. (Sup Roy)

This is exactly why Dallas can't win a big game imo.

Shit, Romo was even quoted as saying "football isn't a team game" after a loss last year.

I love to hate on the Cowboys for fun as much as the next guy, but I don't see how they have any chance if Philly plays decently.

Absolute fact. Look at the issues with the Raiders, Skins under Snyder and the Cowboys. They covet players big names and even bigger contracts and that hasn't worked out. I mean the Skins payed Albert a Gazillion dollars and totally ignored every other hole they have on that team, such as that terribad OLine.

Look at Dallas not giving Miles and chance before the KC game and breaking the bank for Stone hands Williams and still not noticing Choice is the superior back. I really dont need to talk about the Raiders do I? Drafting Russell because he can throw far? Drafting Heyward-Bey because he is fast etc...

Coveting stars is a terrible way of building a team.

This is another reason why I was all over Romo's case for the longest time. He's a smug asshole who just doesn't fucking get it. I got tired of seeing him overthrowing TO and Witten and walking off the field smiling and grinning and not giving a shit.

He only has 8 interceptions, 3 of those were in Week 2 to the Giants (including an interception off Witten's foot). The Defense just wasn't generating turnovers until recently.

I'd say their Defenses are comparable. Oh yeah, and the Eagles are +15 in turnover ratio compared to +1 for the cowboys. Remember, the turn over is Romo's signature trademark.
Their defenses are totally opposite, Cowboys allow more yards, less points. Eagles allow less yards, more points. Scoring is the only stat that matters, on both sides - Cowboys have been pretty bad at it recently on offense, mainly because of short yardage woes.
Shit, Romo was even quoted as saying "football isn't a team game" after a loss last year.
Romo's entire approach/attitude on football has changed this year.

This is exactly why Dallas can't win a big game imo.
It seems to only be a big game when they lose, eh? I think Philly in Week 9 and Saints were pretty big games they won.
