I'm a PLD main, but you don't see me having a Sattva ring just out of principle. I realize the elemental uselessness of said ring in comparison to Rajas, my good man!

Triggers/currency => Get a 2nd character mule to follow you around to events, broseph!

I have one but for some stuff I can't bring him in, lol. Doesn't have Sea access and I need to keep him outside of Namers zones as he's the glass mule and the one I zone in with 1 minute left to collect stray currency. For crap like sky usually I had a set on both mule and main.

But yeah obviously already discussing Rajas vs. others in What's Better already, I've definitely debated trading in the Tamas but I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it at this point. If I played WAR more I would but atm I still end up on RDM or SCH too much to justify it.

for someone like me who is mage only(sam is my one and only melee which doesn't see the light of day) tamas is infinitely better than sattva or rajas. although, of course, if you have even 1 melee(that you generally play) rajas benefits heavily outweigh the easily replaceable tamas and sattva.

Yeah that's pretty much it, if I actually did WAR to anything more worthwile I would do it, but I use it to merit on birds when I don't feel like healing/pulling/spending a fuckton of gil to merit as COR, and occasionally for a lower Limbus zone/city namis. The huge majority of the time I'm either on RDM, PLD, or SCH.

Incidentally I won't even level SAM just because I have no Rajas, lol. WAR and DRK or one thing but I don't think I could bring myself to play SAM w/o it, besides I could just use one of my other mule accounts that has better SAM gear than I would have, including Rajas.

Edit: It's not like I have bad WAR gear either, I typically win the parse of every party I'm in, it's just that my natural 6-hit is limited to when Aggressor is up, and even that doesn't really matter since I make up the difference by being punched in the face when it's down, Retaliation + Hasso like a boss.
