Man i've heard horror stories of astrolabe, I literally just went killed some PH's, and it popped within the hour, or it was already up when I got there..

Doesn't change the fact dring was wasted gear and skill wise, many better options in that ls not saying he didn't camp or afk camp, but it will be a very minor upgrade overall with him.

I know man, I know. Other games look awesome on my PC, but FF looks like shit no matter what I do. Though screenshots look way worse than gameplay graphics

Why do people whine about others' graphics so much? Increased performance is so much more important than nicer graphics in this game, at least to me.

Last time I tweaked things as far as I could tell the only graphics increase which hinders performance (on my box at least) is turning shadows up to high.

Having a lot of players on screen ruins my framerate regardless of background resolution, is this different for other people?

Because I've not heard of that before :D

And as I said above, SS quality is far worse than in-game graphics quality. That said, some pointers would be nice.
