If there's some question in regards to what items would sell for the most, there's some time between the announcement of winning numbers, and the deadline for turning in your marble. A person with the top rank winner could announce it first, and then perform an auction for the various choices, with the price starting at the gil-equivalent value. You still have the problems of making payment and safely transferring the item, but that exists regardless of whether you use an auction mechanism or not.

Too bad aureole is ranged, making what would be an awesome piece for brd completely useless.

I'd most likely get N sash as its the most versatile of all the pieces. There's few jobs you could wear it on and be called a gimp slot.
