as for OP: walk away. I had a somewhat similar situation but the woman was just in a long term relationship and had a kid by the current b/f. An unhappy girlfriend is pretty much a sure-thing to get in the sack, but i just couldn't bring myself to be the reason for breaking up a family. I'm not a tool. Could you really look at her kid and know you're the reason he/she doesn't have a happy family? I know I couldn't. And like others' have said. Being the husband in your situation, if I had found out i'd hunt you down and gut you like a fish. Nobody fucks with my family.

I know this is a few pages back but I have to throw this in here..... not all fathers are alike. I know mine loved me but he left me here with a dreadful mother (who cheated and got knocked up) and went to another state. I was too young to choose but he didn't put up a fight either.

So point is we really don't know anything about this father figure to the kids. He could be a complete shit bag and is screwing around on her and maybe she wants some retailiation.

My advice as most people have stated. Leave it alone. Odds are against you especially in a work place. The last thing you want at work is co workers taking sides and making hell.
