Definitely the best film I have seen in atleast a year? IT WAS AWESOME. SO FUN AND FUNNY.
I did read the comics so I did know what was gonna happen and all the little changes still worked.... well except one I'm not sure about:
Spoiler: show
Yes I honestly much preferred how that worked out in the comic, but they can't get away with that kind of shit in Hollywood, same with Hit-Girl using Condition Red. There's only so many lines they could cross with that character in a mainstream movie, and I don't think that was one of them.
When I went this morning, some dad had brought what looked like two young children to watch it, they left about 20 minutes in, lol.
Holy shit, from the director of Layer Cake and Stardust? Now i'm interested.
Best movie I've seen in a LONG time. Everything about this movie was awesome; especially Hit Girl.
DO you have the password? I dont want to do a silly quiz to unlock it.
That's the movie soundtrack right? I'd love those remixed songs from 28 Days and Sunshine, they worked really well in the movie.
Thanks Qalbert, I really was hoping it had the song from the end of the movie, but it doesnt.
Hmm, only the password one works for me. The latter doesn't have the download link, says the file is "temporarily unavailable". Gay.
Ok the song at the end is on the soundtrack.
This movie was just...amazing. I might have to go see it again.
The best part was pretty much anytime Hit Girl did anything ridiculous, after the scene was over everyone was clapping like crazy in the theatre. Haven't seen a movie get the standing ovation at the end in a long time too...
You're right, it's up and working now. Good shit, thanks Qal.
Haha, I know where they're from (28 Days is one of my favourite movies). But I'm pretty sure Kick Ass used remixed versions of those songs (though, they're basically the same), I was just wondering if the OST had those songs - it doesn't, but still a few good ones.
The two songs you listed are definitely the best ones of those movies, John Murphy is a great composer.
Pretty cool movie, would see it again. Btw, is there a reason why they used that one song from 28 Weeks Later?
