Are Fort Raids over on your server?

We took a group in there last night and cleared it in about ~45 minutes. We also have Theo labs down to barely 2 hours, so we're used to speedpulling stuff. It's a really easy instance, although the final boss hurt us a bit; at one point just me and the tank were alive (He did some shit that 1-shotted everyone that died). We got all the chests minus one or two I think; nothing good from them.
Didn't know about the artifact activating hard mode / non hard mode though, can't wait to go again on hard mode tonight. Do the chests still despawn after 6 minutes on hard mode for every minute passed too?
Edit: Iirc, all of us were 50; at least 3 of us with ASPD weapons too.

As far as I have read from other sites and talking to people, yes the chests disappear on hard mode as well. The only thing I haven't been able to read up on is if he disappears after the timer is gone (I doubt it) and if you don't kill him before the time will the gold room chest despawn as well (I would believe so). In other words ... bring an SM if you want to do hard mode, or else bring 4 sorcs, a temp and a cleric cause that melee shield is a beast.

We did hard mode last night. We had the boss down to ~35% and our cleric went too far out of the room so he reset. But we fought him again (ran out of time of course) and the other chests disappeared.
The gold chest stayed up, though.
Also yeah, we had a 47 SM. Bring an SM for sure, Rage is easy as hell to dispel and helps a TON.

Upper forts haven't had any new caps since the update on my Ariel, but lower forts have still gone back and forth.

We got 3x lesser ancient seals, a greater icon and Dragon Flame Gauntlets, some blue level 50 plate gauntlets with +4.5% damage taken in PVP with Fire resist on them.
Also got a silver medal and 355k total in the chest, ~60k for everyone.

You definately get better drops from the inner three forts, yet in a comparison between the lvl 50 bosses and lvl 45 bosses- the last chest can yield some great loot or some pretty abysmal stuff.

No doubt you will want an SM for harder vs. , I usually roll with two sins chanter glad cleric sm, consistently able to get all chests available on normal boss and miss only 2~3 on lvl50 boss. Boss is stupid easy just watch for chain moves @ 25% marks

Chests dissapear after the timer runs out if you have not opened them, but if they are already opened loot will stay in chest for something like 5min after timer.

edit: also remember these places can stigmas/godstones on rare occassions... got para godstone from kysis this weekend.

Take your time, wait for patrols and stuff will be extremely easy.

I don't think people know how to do this in Aion. Especially if you have more then 1 group together, its like everyone thinks they can steamroll the world.

all the asmos on perento are getting decked out in ap gear while elyos literally have NOTHING to farm. as soon as balaur or asmo take a lower artifact its recapped within hours -.- fucking retards.

also about lower fort instances - cleric and sorc and possibly sm would have a really easy time soloing sulfur/siel east. my sorc friend usually just cc's any mobs near a chest, picks chest and zones out and back in. i usually just kill mobs in the way on cleric. made 4.2k ap solo from sulfur alone today (siel dropped shit )

that is correct. Back when a ranger could solo Sulfur I'd invite ppl to sit in my PT for that 5-10 minutes so I could enter. All instances work on that mechanic

Granted it was fun, haven't seen that much of an asmo force in weeks, outside dragon dropped within 15 seconds with a few of us curebombing. Spent a good 10 minutes pushing their art room with no luck, eventually pushed through to bottom when they dropped down to burn Diety down at 20%.

I'm going to laugh at lolvalon when we tell asmos to take Siel East and no one defends it for them we damn near lost Roah last night for that shit.

We've taken every fort this past week except Krotan and Divine. Don't ask me why, because now there's only 2 spots to farm bloods. Elyos on our server don't like PVP so it was rare to see any in the Abyss as it was. Now, forget it, kiss PVP goodbye.

On Telemachus, Elyos had all lower forts an Roah when it changed over to 30 min. Last week though Asmos were tired of seeing green, so we captured all lower forts, Asteria and Kysis. We we had 16 min left when we went from Kysis to Miren, but we timed out before boss was dead. We had Roah down to like 5% when we tried to capture it from the Elyos too.

Either way, it was dead for a few weeks, but it has really picked up now again.

Heya nice to see a face from telemachus on BG from asmo side, we have a few on elyos from BG.

Asmo side has really picked up their organisation over the last week or so it's been more fun than defending forts with nobody at the door but at the same time the lack of elyos interest in the abyss is a little frustrating.
