Aw snap you people bitching about att and tmobile go to google.com/phone looks like verizon getting nexus one spring 2010.
I want one, but I'd be an idiot if I just ran out and bought one. My G1 is still chugging, all it needs is a new battery. Looks are nice but, looks are irrelevant to me. Functionality is king. I don't see anything that is leaps and bounds ahead of what I already have. I want one, do not get me wrong, I perceive it to be a waste of finances for me though. As it stands I'm more interested in battery life etc etc.

Apps to SD Card incoming. SOLD!
I somewhat agree, but I have an upgrade avail in the next week or so, and I do want a faster phone and the voice for texting and what not seems really useful to me. And I like fancy new things!
EDIT: What Demos said: must get now for that alone since it's doubtful the G1 will get 2.1
Fuckers won't let you use the upgrade if you have a Shared Plan. Most ridiculous shit I have ever heard.
Yea I'm still on a family plan with my parents because it saves both of us money overall so this really fucks me. Unless I get the unlocked version.
Can you get the 'updates' (like the live wallpaper, for example) on the droid?
2.1 is being ported to the droid. Older devices not so much, they'll always get updates, but hardware requirements would not meet 2.1
"Google Nexus One"
Correction:
"HTC Nexus One"
Looks awesome and sleek until you get to the fat fucking bubble that the camera sits in as well as no fucking flash etc.
The camera does have a LED flash.

Mah bad but still that bubble (It looked bigger before actual pictures were released) that holds the camera is ugly.
man..conflicted about upgrading to this. i don't particularly care for t-mobile, but this might be worth extending the contract for. argh, my upgrade is available this month too!
Not sure if this was just a slip up, but was watching the news today and they we debuting the Nexus One and they stated that it would be available on Verizon networks a little later in the year. Has anyone else heard anything like this?
According to the link in nicholai's post (www.google.com/phone), it'll be coming to Verizon and Vodafone "Spring 2010".
Alas, Lucki beat me.
Damn, didn't notice the second page... forgive me orz...
edit: Ok evidently my reading skills are being affected by the jager
Don't know if anyone has seen this pic, but it's a side-by-side comparison of the Nexus One, iPhone, Droid, and Palm Pre
Spoiled for large
Spoiler: show
I'm considering getting this phone within the month (upgrading from a G1) but I just don't want to deal with T-Mobile again... Needs to go to Verizon soon. Meh, I'll probably suck it up and just extend my contract just gotta change the minute plan, 1000 is way too much for me. I average like 70-150/mo.
Need more Android app developers.
Just out of curiosity why does everyone hate on Tmobile? I have them and so far I have never had a problem.
