    I think the last PPV I ever saw was at a friend's house years ago. Cena and HHH were headlining and while the match was not technical marvel it was a really entertaining back and forth.

    Every once in a while I revisit some classic matches. The WCW Cruiserweight division was just astounding. I remember stumbling across WCW like 2 weeks before the nWo hit and was just riveted by them. If you look at any list of greatest WCW matches, like 15 of them are cruiserweights (with Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Eddy Guerrero at Halloween Havoc 97 standing out especially).

    One of the reasons I've always been such a big fan of Bret Hart (and Chris Benoit for that matter) is the ability to really sell the drama. Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect or the Bret/Owen cage match at Summerslam are still exciting.

    If you've ever seen Evan Bourne's ROH stuff (where he was Matt Sydal), you will see that shooting star presses are nothing for that guy. I remember seeing him do what I would describe as a 810 degree shooting star press off of a steel cage.

    810 = 2 full rotations and a quarter spin.

    Plus we have Bourne to thank for the surprising good match Big Show had with Floyd Mayweather. Bourne helped prep him for the match and did all the spots in practice for him to see what was going to be done. Too bad he will lucky if he even sees a US title reign in his future, let along a world title.

    Evan Bourne was the first dude that was allowed to use the shooting star press since Lesnar almost broke his neck.... from what I can remember.

    Notice how you see no pile drivers anymore either?
    Yep, TNA has used that against WWE before. I forget who it was, but one of the TNA stars was being interviewed and he said "yeah, we are definitely more exciting. WWE won't let anyone do pile drivers, yet we have a guy that does one with a full flip."

    I think the Undertaker is the only one allowed to use one anymore and it only gets used rarely, he mostly just uses his choke slam or power bomb as a finisher these days.

    It's really a shame. Wrestling is able to captivate an audience with a "holy shit did you just see that?!" and crippling it before it ever gets in the ring just sucks.

    Edit: Petey Williams is the one that does the 360 piledriver

    The thing is that people on the WWE roster are investments. Are you really going to risk your investment because some up-and-coming meathead wants to show off? And yeah, it got boring as fuck.

    X-Division on TNA makes me fucking happy.

    Also I haven't watched in forever but Sharkboy doing the Stone Cold voice was probably the funniest, best gag I have ever seen.

    Canadian Destroyer!

    Paul Burchill had some crazy shit he used. Not believable in the least, but it still looks cool.

    Canadian Destroyer is the coolest move ever.

    This is a press conference TNA did after Impact. Vince Russo was up first and he didn't seem too happy lol.
