So tomorrow TNA and WWE are going head to head with three-hour specials. TNA has Hulk Hogan and WWE has Bret Hart. What do BG's wrestling fans think about this so-called revival of the Monday Night Wars?

Liking it, Brett Hart was my favorite wrestler other than Stone Cold for a while.
Personally, I think it will be great for business. I'm not to keen on TNA bringing in Hogan because he has always been selfish and will just use TNA to put himself over, but this move has forced WWE's hand and they brought in Bret for the interim. Bret signed a four month deal and there's talk he may wrestle Vince at Wrestlemania in some form.
I've gotten tired of WWE's staleness in recent years so this move by TNA will freshen things up.
I wrote a response but it didn't register.
Anyway, pretty excited to see Brett Hart. Never thought he'd ever return to WWF in any shape or form. Hopefully this'll get me interested in wrassling again because I haven't been digging the storylines at all.
Don't really care for Hogan because he whores himself out.
^^ WWE MOTHAFUCKA
Fuck that WWE shit and fuck animals.
Ring of Honor on HDNet runs its shows on Mondays now so that may count towards this in time if ROH can get more exposure. Great wrestling from them btw.
I haven't watched wrestling since Stone Cold Steve Austin was on TV. When he left wrestling I stopped watching.
WWE is fuckin wack, the guest host gimmick is fuckin stale already. Support TNA, young talent, more action, and hotter women WHO CAN ACTUALLY WRESTLE.
TNA has a long way to go but honestly the best time in wrestling was the first Monday Night Wars. WCW wasn't quite there when they went head to head with the WWF but they adapted and grew. I hope TNA does well because their top talent puts on better matches for the most part. I sadly still watch every monday, more out of routine than for enjoyment reasons.
WWF sucks ever since The Rock left. I catch an episode here and there and it seems like everyone and their mothers has some kind of cheap Peoples Elbow knockoff. John Cena is corny and Batista is boring.
Lots of rumours circulating of who will be at Impact tonight. Guaranteed to be there is Scott Hall, who just signed a deal.
Sean Waltman may also appear and with that, speculation that he, Nash and Hall will reform the Wolfpac.
Other possible names floating out there are Mr. Kennedy, RVD and even Paul Heyman.
Should be an interesting night.
Pro wrestling fell off once the rock left, havent watched it since.
i saw a youtube video of aj styles, that dude does some amazing shit
Yeah, it has been rough since the Attitude days. I've been a wrestling fan since I was five and I'll be a lifelong fan but it's hard staying a fan considering how stale WWE is. TNA has the chance to be big but they have made so many mistakes themselves that prevent them from being on the same level as WWE.
WWE has been boring me for quite a while since the whole system is just stale. TNA had me interested for a while, but they started relying far too heavily on older stars and it held back their younger (and better) talent.
If anything I might flip back and forth between TNA and the Fiesta Bowl. If they can revamp, I might be interested in tuning in more often.
If Brett Hart does anything worth watching, I'm sure it'll be on YouTube. Could care less about what happens for the rest of the show.
Echoing this, the Rock was the only guy who felt like he actually had a sense for entertainment, the rest just felt like generic paid actor #1 (good guy) and #2 (heel). Maybe I just grew out of it, but ever since the Rock left I haven't been paying attention to anything wrestling related. Brett Hart though... those were the good old days. Maybe I'll tune in tonight for nostalgia's sake.
Gonna pretty much echo what the above posters said, once WCW tanked and Stone Cold and the Rock left WWE it all went downhill. I stuck around for a bit afterwards until the emergence of John Cena, which completely killed my interest.
I don't know why Vince rode his cock so hard, he was probably the worst champion I've ever seen. He has no personality or talent, and I really don't care enough about him to even hate on him. I'm not even gonna get into his shitty acting.....
I catch WWE/TNA every so often when I'm in the mood, and its the same thing recycled again and again.
The original Monday Night Wars were so good because there was a great mix of personalities, stables, and story lines to keep the entertainment value up. Add on to that, both WCW and WWE were taking constant shots at each other which added on to the fun. Highlights that stand out to me:
WWE: DX, Corporation/Corporate Ministry, Stone Cold, the Rock, Brett Hart Screw Job (not a highlight in the traditional sense, but it shocked EVERYONE)
WCW: Hogan going heel, nWo (and resulting feud between Sting and Hogan), Cruiserweight division
After the major story lines started to fade and the new stables had worn out their welcome, everything just got stale and then WCW tanked. Once Vince bought them out, shit just went downhill with the merger. Stone Cold, the Rock, and even Kurt Angle and Foley to a point, helped keep things afloat. Once they departed though, it was just a bunch of generic crap with shitty personalities and WWE hasn't felt the need to be pushed by anyone to this point including TNA.
Back then I remember watching and being legitimately surprised by some of the turns in the various stories, but right now it is pretty much all the same.
Edit: nearly forgot too that WWE then absorbed ECW too and the "ECW" program that is on now is a fucking shell of its former self.
