You could have better gotten your opinion across with a question like, "I feel like black people would find this new disney movie offensive, do you agree with me or do you think I have no idea because I'm white?"

You could be racist, but raising that question certainly doesn't support or prove that. It just shows that you (apparently) aren't in touch with how black people feel about how they are portrayed. I wondered the same thing when I saw this trailer. I wasn't bothered that the characters were black, just that it seemed cheap to black people.

I think people are generally far to fucking sensitive about everything. Disney is always about re-imagining a story (for the most part) so it doesn't matter if they take a old tale and put a new spin on it. I can watch a movie completely without thinking "Is this racist towards..." or "Is this insensitive to..." and all that other garbage.

For Disney, you should be asking whether the characters are likeable, the story/jokes are entertaining or the animation is good. Nothing else matters and for the most part, the racist/insensitive bits of any movie are mostly down to you as a person. Especially when it comes to stuff like this.

But yeah, you're definitely racist.

The stereotypes of every culture piss me off. Loud, annoying black people. White people who try super hard to act how they think black people want them to act, etc. I'm well aware that these are not representative of the cultures as a whole and I do not technically "pre-judge" but I am more easily agitated by all the stereotypical actions of every culture (think Boondocks)
