See, the problem here is, you use stereotypes in your movie, you're racist. You go out of your way to avoid them, though, you're patronizing/condescending/"out of touch". It's a catch-22, but if you don't get into the catch-22, you're also racist for not putting the characters in at all. You can't win, everyone gets offended now. The stereotypes of every culture piss me off. Loud, annoying black people. White people who try super hard to act how they think black people want them to act, etc. I'm well aware that these are not representative of the cultures as a whole and I do not technically "pre-judge" but I am more easily agitated by all the stereotypical actions of every culture (think Boondocks)

It's great that hollywood defaults to pleasant british dialects for films set in foreign countries where the characters are supposed to be speaking Russian or Arab or some shit, and it never draws criticism. People have all sorts of double standards; sometimes so as not to have to read subtitles, and in your case because you're probably a bit of a honkey racist.

I personally still don't get how Jim crow from dumbo counts as rascist. If anything given how racist the era was at the time a movie making a bunch of black people one of the only heroes of the story and quite intelligent/clever Jim crow feels like the least racist Disney character around.
Oh and Aladdin is Chinese as is probably most of the cast in the original story.
