Ok lets complain about how easy WoW is then more changes were just announced on the WoW forums incoming more QQ about the game is so easy.

The Lady Deathwhisper encounter has seen the following changes in the 25 player normal version: mana pool has been reduced, the health on all adds has been reduced, and Adherents will wait a little longer after spawning before they start casting.

Interrupting a fireball being cast by the Ymirjar Flamebearers in normal and heroic Pit of Saron will no longer make them instantly cast Hellfire.

The ghost waves at the beginning of both normal and heroic Halls of Reflection have undergone several changes that should make them easier to defeat such as preventing 2 mages or 2 mercenaries from spawning in the 5 mob pulls, a shorter duration of the spectral footman’s shield bash, and the spectral mage’s flamestrike having a longer cast time, shorter duration, and (in heroic) doing less damage.

The Oculus loot improvements posted here have been made: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...geNo=1&sid=1#0

Still think people are going to bounce the minute they see occulus. I don't really mind the instance but people are gonna still leave regardless of a low chance at a mount.

Blizzard already nerfed it in response to players complaints and/or lack of utilization of Oculus. Further "enhancements" to this don't make any sense.

Are we going to revamp Culling of Stratholme and VH because they "take way too much time" next?

Vehicle mechanics should have never been raid/instance mechanics

I don't see anything wrong with the vehicle implementations in either Uld or Oculus at this point, because they scale with gear and let you fly in instances.

Isle of Conquest vehicles, on the other hand, can go fuck themselves.

Is this a joke? What the fuck. It's faster than other instance, and unlike stratholme or HoS, you dont have to wait fiorever for an npc, when all I want to do is to pull 2-3 pulls wroth of mobs.

I will say that I hate vehicles because a mod I use has been broken since 3.3 and gets wonky after I mount one. A /reloadui fixes it when I can find a spare second.

It's faster in people know what they are doing, yeah. But chances are people don't when it comes to Occulus. Despite how easy it is, it doesn't change the fact people will always suck at whatever job they have to do on Ley-Guardian and will just rage-quit after one wipe. : p

arguably, only the emerald drake really needs to know what he is doing. Even people time stopping at the wrong times yields an increase in DPS and the red drake can just spam his 3 buttons. Beyond that it's a 3d version of 'stay out of the fucking fire.'

I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad considering I get OCC "every" 5 runs no matter what... (since 3.3 launch)

    Occ -> gundrak -> utgar pinncable -> utgar keep -> nexus -> occ -> gundrak -> repeating

Before ley-guardian, there is just no excuse. I havent encountered anyone in the last few months who havent been able to follow me on the next platform. Sometime, they get aggro, but it's just a minor waste of time. Most wipe I've seen in occulus were caused by the "call wyrm" move of the 2nd boss. It's not so bad anymore, but it's still nasty

For eregos itself, accident can happen I guess, but as long 2 people know their job, it's nearly impossible to wipe now with the mount scale up. Just ask before to make sure everyone know what to do, and give a short explanation if needed. Just make sure everyone run from the homing balls when it dissapears, and it can't possibly go wrong (unless I dont know, the healer doesnt heal a single time)

Gundrak and nexus are sweet for badge (15min for 5+2 badges) and nexus (~17min for 5+2 badges), you cant complain if you get this rotation.

Personally, I'm stuck in a Hall of stone --> Stratholme loop since forever. I'm doing around 3-4 random instances every days, and got these 2 every fucking time. I'm just happy to never get Nexus...adding it to HoS/Strat would be the killing blow.

Oh god please. Make the intro skippable and make Arthas instantly appear at the house/end of gauntlet/Mal'ganis instead of waiting on his slow ass, and give the option to instantly spawn the set of adds after Meathook instead of waiting 90seconds and ta-da, CoS takes about 13 minutes instead of 30 (including intro).

You can say WoW players are a bunch of whiners but the same could be said about FFXI players just you never see changes because SE really doesnt care.
You completely missed the point. The comparison to FFXI is inconsequential, and it applies to every MMO out there too. Not all WoW players are bad, but the bottom are the absolute worst. Whining, crying, dropping from RFD dungeons because they are too dumb to even give it a passive try. Occulus is god-damned easy. Waiting 4 seconds for me to finish drinking and get into range is just the smart thing to do, and some people just don't have the common sense to do even that.

Developer contact doesn't have anything to do with the fact that some moron blames the healer when they run into a pack of mobs because they are an impatient 14 year-old. If Ghostcrawler could fix that problem I would play WoW full time.

some blue posted about that some weeks ago about it not being as easy a fix as ToC (he mentioned they had planned it in advanced) with a lot of NPC-movement, but they havent entirely ruled out shortening it abit.

I just hope they will keep modifing boss-encounters like in DTK and change svala(UK) and anub(AN)

This was my problem. I played a lot more than normal the first two weeks after the RDF came out. In the blink of an eye, my crappy-just-hit-80 blues and weak purples turned into almost-current-tier-raid-worthy gear. I almost have enough Frost for my tier 10 or whatever (I am not very good on how gear is tiered, I think Frost are considered tier 10, right?). Either way, I am the most casual of casuals. I should not have easy access to i246+ gear by logging on for less than 30 minutes a day!

I didn't really work for any of it, I just SP'ed my way through until I had enough emblems to get proper healing gear. I can't raid because I still play FFXI full-time and so I have hit a brick wall in gear basically, and I don't feel like doing Halls of Lightning or [insert your personal not-so-random random dungeon] for the 50th time this week.

I disagree with you here. Blizzard does a very good job of raid design. They start by making things initially very difficult, then see how the live severs perform then slowly nerf them down to a more reasonable place for most raiders. This is much preferred to say... oh, random nerfs and buffs to AV and PW that cause players to go absolutely crazy. Blizzard starts from one place and then moves back to a comfortable position for most raiders. If it's too easy, do the hard mode.

    1) Yes, I do know that they have the PTR to figure these things out. The PTR doesn't tell them everything though, because the average person that plays on the PTR is better geared and higher skilled than the average person on a live server.

    2) Yes, I do know that the hard modes for ICC haven't been released, but GC has stated several time that this is their approach to dealing with new content. This was true of Ulduar and even before that. Normal raids are for normal raiders, so they start a little harder and move it back until normal raiders can deal with them. You get better gear from hard modes for a reason.

The change to DTK made me sad- I think the part where Tharonja changes everyone into skeletons is the best part of the fight (and the most fun). I guess other people don't agree.

    -----

I've been sticking out Oculus runs lately, since I get them daily now. I've actually grown to... like it. As long as I get to ride the green drake, because its the one I'm most comfortable with. :3 So these bonus badges and loot only makes it a sweeter.

I'm happy for the changes to HHoR, btw. The groups of Mage/Mage and Merc/Merc caused my 4800~5100 GS group to wipe *SEVEN TIMES* the other night. We never got past Malric, just gave up (and we're not retarded, btw. These were the officers and more skilled members of my guild. I was even cc'ing stuff D: ). Maybe now I'll actually get to run it more often and maybe someday I'll see that goddamn trinket drop for my priest. D:

The problem wasn't that you'd get skeletonized 5-6 times, but that you'd spend more time stunned during the transformation phases back and forth than fighting the boss outside of the stun.

It's like Krystallus (not that any of my HoS groups are fighting him anymore). If you are just that much too slow in killing him he'll stun/grip the group and then die, leaving you stunned for ~25 seconds after the boss dies. The enemy is the length of the stun, which should really wear off when the boss dies. Or Svala in UP, who spends so much time up in the air with an overgeared group that melee are reduced to shooting arrows at her to participate at all in the fight. Tharon'ja would be fun again if the transformation phase was 1s long and never had you in one phase for shorter than 15 seconds.
