Forgot to mention this earlier: While the other DC news stations were chopping at the bit about Portis throwing Campbell under the bus about his leadership Mike Shanahan was unofficially announced as the new Redskins head coach. Also, Campbell said in a midnight interview over the radio that he and Portis squashed the whole interview thing over the phone less than an hour after the story broke.

Not expecting the Skins' to make the playoffs or anything but 8-8 or 10-6 with a few division wins under their belt in a couple of years would be a good start. If the 4th round pick is wasted on Colt McCoy, then I will officially be a Ravens fan full-time but still rock a Brian Orakpo and Jason Campbell jersey (for whatever team he goes to) because they're both studs.

Also, I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Zorn almost two years ago at Darrel Green's "Tackle Colon Cancer" charity event when I used to work for the local hospital. After talking to him for 5 minutes, I could tell he's one of those good natured people that wouldn't say anything bad about anyone and help a friend in need at the drop of a dime. With that said, he may be a good person but just not cut out for the NFL, I would gladly let him coach my son's little ankle biter team, but he should pursue something to match his personality like the peace corps. I don't make a lot of predictions (or even post in here much except to remind all of you how amazing Aaron Rodgers is - he's the highest-rated QB of all time btw) but what I really want to see for at least the duration of the first quarter of the Green Bay/Arizona game...

...is actually a fucking shitload of Ryan Grant. Arizona is all cocky thinking they've seen everything that Green Bay does, and now they'll start dialing up blitzes and pressuring Rodgers. And I want that shit to backfire as much as possible. Pound the ball early and often, make them try to stop it.

Then they can unleash the Rodgers.
