the fact that you are justifying your argument by sayin the ravens beat the team of the decade just shows how much you're kidding yourself. Abysmal on defense and welkerless, they're nothing like they have been. The pats played as bad as the ravens playe well.

To even insinuate that manning wouldn't be focused is...lol. I'm not sying the ravens can't win, but there's a reason they're a 6.5 point dog. They're a mediocre team playing the best team in the regular season on the road. The ravens beating a drained pats team doesn't change that.

Nothing bugs me more when people lump "history" in when two teams play. It doesn't fucking matter. The 09 ravens beat the 09 pats. The ghosts of the previous years Pats were not on the field.

I heard a stat earlier said by one of the pregame analysts saying how the cards have never lost a home playoff game. WHUT? Whats their record, 2-0? jesus talk about irrelevant statistics. "history" doesn't count much. I see people all the time pick games (*cough*BERMAN*cough*) based on "aura and mystique" type shit. Fuck that. The ravens on the field today didn't care a damn about the success the pats had in previous years and it sure as fuck didn't help the pats any.
