    Code:
Charles Woodson vs. Other teams #1

    1. Devin Hester 4 rec 90 yards 1 TD
    2. Chad Ochocinco 4 rec 91 yards 1 TD
    3. Donnie Avery 3 rec 12 yards 0 TD
    4. Sidney Rice 5 rec 70 yards 1 TD

    8. Sidney Rice 4 rec 40 yards 0 TD
    9. Michael Clayton 1 rec 29 yards 0 TD (Antonio Bryant Injured)
    10. Roy Williams 4 rec 105 yards 1 TD
    11. Michael Crabtree 4 rec 77 yards 1 TD
    12. Calvin Johnson 2 rec 10 yards 1 TD
    13. Derrick Mason 2 rec 13 yards 0 TD
    14. Johnny Knox 5 rec 83 yards 1 TD

    Totals: 41 rec 669 yards 7 TD

Darrelle Revis vs Other teams #1

    1. Andre Johnson 4 rec 35 yards 0 TD
    2. Randy Moss 4 rec 24 yards 0 TD
    3. Justin Gage 4 rec 37 yards 0 TD
    4. Marques Colston 2 rec 33 yards 0 TD
    5. Tedd Ginn Jr 2 rec 57 yards 1 TD
    6. Terrell Owens 3 rec 13 yards 0 TD
    7. Chaz Schilens 0 rec 0 yards 0 TD
    8. Bye
    9. Tedd Ginn Jr 0 yards 0 TD
    10. Sims Walker 3 rec 49 yards 1 TD
    11. Randy Moss 5 rec 34 yards 1 TD
    12. Steve Smith 1 rec 5 yards 0 TD
    13. Terrell Owens 3 rec 31 yards 0 TD
    14. Antonio Bryant 2 rec 22 yards 0 TD

    Totals 33 rec 340 yards 3 TDs
And Woodson had 2 more defensive TDs, 4 more forced fumbles, 2 sacks, and obviously more INTs. Arguments can be made either way. It's a judgment call that could go either way.

Probably would have less of a problem with it if that secondary didn't just finish getting smoked for 50+, that doesn't happen if you have the "DPOY" on the field.

But I guess it is a regular season award anyway.

And he had more forced fumbles because they threw at him and he allowed the WR to catch the ball. He had more INTs because they weren't as scared of him as Revis, etc etc.

    Revis is better, period.

Anyone who can close down Justin Gage has to get the award. Duh

Asomugha is still really good, Champ Bailey is still very solid, Asante Samuel is a gambler but still a good corner, etc. There is no reason Revis won't continue to be a great corner. As far as I know the Jets are still in the playoffs so that's a little more important at the moment than individual awards.

Hope they're not after this week, but our run defense scares the shit out of me This is going to be like that Miami-Indianapolis game earlier this year, but I've got a bad feeling it might not end so well for the team with 15 minutes. If nothing else, we can always put Billy Volek in. All he does is win games on the final drive lately.

No, some idiots out there believe Moss is more valuable than Welker, so he had to cover himz.

Did Favre steal Archi's girlfriend or something? Anyone can select arbitrary stats to make someone look bad.. You know the saying - there's lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Want an example? With Brady's 3 INT loss to the Ravens, he now has more 3+ INT playoff games than Favre. And Brady has played in 4 fewer playoff games! Is that not enough? Ok. Favre's Super Bowl passer rating is higher than Brady's.

I don't get why you feel the need to unfairly bash a great QB.. He has a winning playoff record, something Peyton Manning doesn't have - imagine if Favre was 7-8 instead of 12-10, what would you say then? There's no doubt that since "The Catch II" his postseason showings have been poor, but you can't discount everything he did before that when evaluating the whole body of work.

At the very least, you can't give Rodgers a pass for his OT turnover when you would do the exact opposit for the previous GB QB. Rodgers did play a great game in between his first and last plays, but putting the blame on the refs instead of the QB who fumbled (he's lucky, considering all the stats you throw out, that it wasn't considered a pick after his kick job) shows bias.

Anyway, as far as Dallas-Minnesota, I think the 3-point line favoring MIN is more about the seeding than anything else.. If you think MIN's rushing game is the best the playoffs have to offer, you probably haven't been watching the Vikings much over the 2nd half of the season. In weeks 11 through 16, AD didn't hit 4.0 ypc once - he did week 17, but it was against a Giants team that layed down in every sense of the term. The Vikings also lead the NFL in rushes for no gain or negative yardage. MIN isn't moving the ball on the ground, though they are turning it over on the ground.. Peterson has fumbled as many times as Favre has thrown it to the wrong team..

Bryant McKinnie may get so badly abused by Ware that he goes into hiding at halftime (see: week 15 vs Julius Peppers). Loadholt may have it just as bad with Anthony Spencer.. But even if you forget their run and pass blocking woes, it gets worse when you look at the defense.. MLB Jasper Brinkley, filling in for the injured E.J. Henderson, is the definition of a liability in the passing game.. The safeties, Tyrell Johnson and Madieu Williams, are a joke. At corner, Cedric Griffin is somewhat servicable, but it only gets worse from there.. Winfield is still hampered by a foot injury, and it's anyone's guess where he plays (he was demoted to nickelback after getting torched by Devin Aromashodu in week 16).

If you're looking for a stat to give some credence to this, their passer rating against is 92.5, far worse than any other team that made the playoffs.. They're wedged in between the Seahawks and Bears... Their pass rush can be great, but also inconsistant, and over the second half it's been slowed. Even if you consider it very good, that's just a further condemnation of their coverage.. Unable to be decent even with pressure on the QB.

So I definitely feel the Cowboys should be favored.. The only positives for the Vikings are that it is at the Metrodome, and Favre is capable of managing a gameplan that should feature a lot of quick-hitting passes to negate what DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer & Co. will be bringing.

    Sorry for the long post @.@;

    That was a good book.

On paper, the Cowboys should win, but ya never know. Harvin could make a few huge plays, and Favre knows what he is doing out there. Hopefully there aren't as many blowouts as last week, although the Saints can get blown out and I won't mind.
