Does anyone else do a bi-annual music library clean out? I'm currently cleaning out my music library of anything under about 120bpm except select favorites (Grizzly Bear, Velvet Underground, etc), and stuff under the umbrella of psychedelia. It's going in bursts and starts but I can already feel my mood improving with the improved and refined selection of music. Melancholic music is fine when the days are long and it's warm but when the days get short I'm susceptible to getting Seasonal Affective Disorder so clearing out the hippy and folk fodder goes a long way to ensuring I don't get depressed. I deleted a lot of albums that I reallly only like for 2-3 songs too. I still have 20.9 days of music, 57.4 GB's.
