I almost feel like Im starting over, Ive been out of the game since before christmas with family down, then the craziness of both grandparents making regular visits to the hospital for emergency surgeries. This has been a rough time for me, stepping back in the game feels like I havent been there in years, kinda scary.

No idea if you have a server targeted, as far as servers to get started on, Hades is NA based and a good one to START up on, as far as later on meh, Caitsith FTW in End Game.

phoenix is where you want to start out at if your starting a new character as it has the highest population on average

I'd have to tip the cap to anyone starting completely over at this point in the game. To think of all the crap you have to grind through to get your character in halfway decent shape... there's no way I would have come back myself after my 2 year break if I couldn't recover my original character.

Well, looks like we're already nearing doing certain events with somewhat of an established roster.

Looking at doing Sky, and Dynamis for anyone who still wants to reactivate that account, or come hang out. No real requirements other than a 75 job, and Sky access.

We'd love to have anyone who'd like to tag along.

thinkin back about what time was wasted just standing around and hoping to get someone while shouting for help: i started too late in this game. that simple.
it still is fun but if you want to experience everything you won't have that much fun. Even if you have a lot of ppl ingame you know it won'T help that much, since they have their shedule on their own.

still working on the damn promys on COP since noone does them anymore.

I see your point but this isn't completely true. Just being honest when I say this, but make some better friends. I have friends in game that are still on promies, and I'd help them in a heartbeat with any CoP mission. That goes for anyone in my social as well. As long as they are putting forth effort to do what they can do on their own, I'll help them with the bcnm portion and what not.

I was told when I first started this game anything is achievable, you just have to put forth the effort.

Just wanted to say gl. I imagine you can actually get through shit FAST with a static group of 5-6 knowledgeable, newly re-addicted players.

Welp I did it like a yr ago and it was pretty easy, cept COP but leveling was easy, Level sync Qufim til lvl 60 (BLM) took me 2 weeks with ffxiapp(RIP).

Just buy an account with some jobs that you haven't played and would like to try for ~$200 and join some pug linkshell or just mess around in meripo/levelsync/etc parties. If you get bored right away, resell the account, if you enjoy yourself for an extended period of time then money well spent. The least fun thing to do is relevel 1-37, 1-75, redo Zilart, CoP, etc...
