Idk, I wasn't pushing for forced sterilization, that is something that isn't even within the realm of possibility unless it were some kind of truly insane situation like someone with AIDS having children or something along those lines.

If you are receiving government assistance though, there should be some kind of punishment/stipulation regarding continuing to have more children.

If you can't support yourself, you can't support a child. Reversible birth control at birth. Make some kinda screening process where you have to prove that you are fully capable of raising children (have the means to support them, not crazy, etc) and then you can get it reversed and have children. Ah, bad example, learned something new, that is pretty crazy considering all the fluids that an unborn child comes into contact with.

I think more than anything this issue gets people upset because truth be told, most of us hate the welfare system in its current form, mainly because of being constantly exploited. This shit also reminds me of the movie "Idiocracy" every time. It may be a comedy, but there is a real truth to it.

While I feel bad that this was done against her wishes, it is a ridiculously funny situation and not a little bit horrifying. She had her first kid when she was 14! Why didn't someone notice then that she needed a bit of birth control education?
