Is jailbreaking easy to do. I know it shouldn't be a big selling point for me but i would really get along with the iphone more if i could customize it, and i know the BB is very limited when it comes to customization?

but who was iphone?
my nexus one is coming tomorrow! hehehhahahaha
iPhone ftw
my blackberry is boring as shit but it gets the job done. my bf has an iphone, and it annoys me more than anything cuz he never puts it down
android phones > iphone > bb
droid does
alright got the nexus one. gimme fun android programs to download :F
Got it. Love it.
It's the jailbroke iPhone with a better network, really. And a keyboard.
And I've yet to be in a situation where I've had to use the internet while on the phone, and I've had phones for years. Although I don't see that possibility being far off from the droid, though. Take that, Luke Wilson.
I've gotten online while talking several times. Look up phone numbers and movie times. It's not like it's a selling-point feature, but it's came in handy at times.
can't double check since I canceled the phone but pretty sure I wasn't able to do that on my 3g. I was able to use some apps but not the internet browser
I have a 3g and it works fine. I don't think jailbreaking it has anything to do with it.
edit: to make sure I'm not crazy

I don't see the 3G icon, does that mean it's dropping to EDGE when in call (for data or voice, whichever)?
The icon at the top to the right of the AT&T means he's on Wi-fi for data
Never had a BB but I do love my iPhone.
Hate to say it but... Droid really fucking does! I love the damn thing to death!
I like Macs, but iPhone? Nah.
I've been using Blackberry for a while now (Pearl > Curve > and now, Bold/Onyx(9700)
Its a very good device overall. Very good business related applications, probably the best email software (also includes exchange support, etc), beautiful display, good battery life, very good security features, good camera for a phone, etc. Trackpad is also awesome for navigating.
Blackberry browser blows, but Opera mini remedies the issue a bit. Safari is superior, though.
I'd say go with 9700, you won't regret it. If you really want a touchscreen phone iPhone is the best though.
Oh, and also there is Nokia e71 and n95 that you may wanna consider.
Oh, and Droid is very close to getting Flash. Can't wait for that.
