There's so much stuff to highlight at this year's CES that it's tough to cover it all in one shot, so to get started here's a look at the computer graphics war..
- AMD's new line of Radeon Mobility 5-series GPUs is on display and it looks like they've pulled off NVidia's mobile graphics crown for the moment. The new Mobility 5870 provides comparable graphics quality to the desktop model 5770 and is the first mobile GPU to be DirectX11 ready.

The Mobility 5x series also has the same "Eyefinity" capabilities as its desktop cousins. This next pic has the GPU hooked up to a netbook via a special "graphics module". Sorry kids, no word on whether this box will be available to the public.. yet!:Spoiler: show
Not to be left behind, NVidia did have a booth running a prototype DX11-compatible graphics card believed to be running the highly anticipated Fermi GPU:
