I couldnt believe someone actually made this thread, next thing you know eternalsnow will be nominating Marish Carey songs for the Oscars.
just sounds like they want to allow the main team behind the Final Fantasy series to step outside the mold and create a new generation FF series (though to me it seems that's what they do w/ each game anyways)
I wouldn't be disappointed, they need to focus their energies elsewhere. FF has run its course.
I always think of TWEWY when I think of the new FF... I used to hate Tetsuya Nomura so much until I played that game. TWEWY made me realize that he's not a shitty producer or artist, but that his style needs to be kept separate from Final Fantasy. he does incredible work when he's not murdering one of my favorite series with belts and zippers.
FF will never die!
There is just too much money in it to let it die.
Kids age 5 thru 15 today that have grown up on FF11 the past 7 years will have the same nostalgic thoughts that 16 thru 30 year olds have about FF1 thru 7. This market alone will prob generate enough revenue to make it worth it for them to create FF's for a long foreseeable future.
I dont see it dying....... in my lifetime.
Morgan Freeman could have voiced Yuna and no one would have complained I bet.
I'm pretty sure I saw this 10+ years ago in a magazine. SE stated that they were going to stop around XIII...
Only the intro and parts of the middle were light-hearted and... well, retarded. The end-game parts were pretty serious and the whole thing got a lot better. Not enough to excuse the first half mind you.
I liked the whistling at the end.
FFX-2 was better than FFX.
True story.
I'll believe it when it actually happens. Too much of a cash cow.
That being said, if they can the series, 3rd Chrono Trigger game please.
