AP Gaining Methods

At 30 the areas I have had the most success in are outside of Alsig Village in Morheim, and outside of the main fortress in Beluslan. 5k per hour nowadays is actually pretty good considering all the bot purges that have been happening, and thats typically around what I average now. Generally the areas outside of a town or outpost that has an obelisk in it are the higher population areas.

I've been able to rack up 5k+ AP in kills in 15 minutes or so around alsig during prime time, although these runs tend to wind up ending very quickly due to people calling their high level legion mates or logging their high level mains in, so that sort of rate is nearly impossible to sustain for very long. It also doesn't help when known radar hack users show up and find your kisk within minutes no matter where you put it then camp your kisk lol.

Hmm, so 40 is still too low to get AP? So I should focus on being 50 and then rack it in?

I tried killing fort guards, but within 5 mins my kisk was camped and destroyed.

Anything good to buy with 50k AP at 40?

I'm actually having trouble finding anything to kill in the Abyss at 40...all the mobs seem to be 40, or jump straight to 50, with no inbetweens. I could go back to kill Ranx Balaur, but I have been doing that for like the past 2 weeks and it gets boring after a while. Any ideas?

Just save your AP for Advanced Stigma, IMO. Once you have those covered and are 50, you could maybe start looking into Abyss accessories and possibly the armors if you're really into PVP.

I did the repeatables and fire spirit things at Krotan til 41. Then i went and killed fort guards at the outside gate closest to the reaper islands on Siel east/west til around 45. You can toss your kisk up there also. The exp wasn't very good but i was more interested in Abyss points. I'm sure it's a lot more annoying now though, with 50's running around, so it depends on your server.

Decided to give up on AP farming for now...fort guards are great, but everytime I try to grind them, whether it be Balaur or Elyos, Elyos appear and gank me, then camp my kisk. It's just not worth the hassle.

Thanks for all the advice though! Maybe things will pick up at 50 for me.

honestly do what the elyos did to you. i dinged 45 recently and didn't have enough ap for an advanced stigma so me and my friend decided to check out our forts for asmo grinding guards. lets just say i got 4k ap in about an hour, but we were probably lucky
